Description

Brytebuild is a cloud MRP and manufacturing execution platform for small UK engineering and joinery shops, with an embedded quality management system. The planning side runs multi-level bill-of-materials explosion, net-requirements MRP with lead-time and safety-stock awareness, demand forecasting that feeds the plan, and finite-capacity scheduling on a drag-and-drop Gantt that refuses to double-book a work centre. Execution covers works orders and routing, container and barcode-level stock on an append-only movement ledger, FEFO picking, packing, despatch and UK-VAT-compliant invoicing that pushes to Xero or Sage. Traceability is per-unit: serial and lot genealogy resolves both backwards to the supplier lot and forwards to the customer, and each unit can publish a GS1 Digital Link passport with JSON-LD for EU ESPR readiness. Quality is not an add-on. Inspection plans, non-conformances, CAPA, concessions, calibration, document control, internal audit and management review all ship in the Pro tier.

Description

Our manufacturing data acquisition system offers a flexible and cost-effective solution that is user-friendly, seamlessly integrates with ERP systems, and connects effortlessly to both new and legacy machines, all while providing outstanding customer support. By linking the shop floor to the management level in real-time, it ensures that live and precise production and process data is accessible throughout your factory. This system allows for rapid and proactive responses to alerts regarding downtime, process parameters, cycle speeds, and other exceptions. Users can anticipate potential bottlenecks, swiftly adjust to production changes, and efficiently manage tool changes or late orders with our intuitive drag-and-drop scheduling feature. Additionally, the customizable business intelligence reports and dashboards empower users to make well-informed decisions, enhancing production efficiency, optimizing processes, maintaining product quality, and strategically directing Capital Expenditure priorities. With such capabilities, manufacturers can stay ahead of industry demands and improve overall operational performance.

Product Features

MRP

Brytebuild is a specialized MRP solution designed specifically for UK manufacturers that operate on a make-to-order basis, typically employing between 5 to 25 individuals. What sets this platform apart is its integrated quality management system, which is not offered as a separate module. The software adeptly handles multi-level bills of materials, balancing demand with inventory, work in progress, and existing purchase orders. It provides timely recommendations on production and purchasing needs. The scheduling feature utilizes finite capacity planning, allowing work orders to flow through work centers based on actual daily availability, all displayed on an intuitive drag-and-drop Gantt chart that prevents machine double-booking. Two key features distinguish Brytebuild from typical options in the market. First, customers can track their order status via a link, eliminating the need for a login. Second, it seamlessly incorporates quality management elements such as inspection plans, non-conformance reporting, corrective and preventive actions (CAPA), calibration, document control, internal audits, and management reviews within the same system. Pricing starts at £45 per month for each full user, with a minimum of two users required. More economical execute-only shop-floor seats are also available. A 14-day free trial is offered without any credit card obligation.

Warehouse Management

Brytebuild offers a streamlined warehouse management system that operates using the same data source as its Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ensuring that stock levels, production schedules, and dispatch operations are consistently aligned and do not require reconciliation between different platforms. The system features an append-only ledger that tracks movements down to the container and barcode level, allowing for a transparent history of every location, rather than relying on inferred balances. With efficient allocation and reservation processes, committed stock is excluded from the available inventory, and the system supports multiple warehouses with specific minimum stock requirements for each location. Picking, packing, and dispatching are integrated into structured workflows, employing First Expiry, First Out (FEFO) allocation for items with limited shelf life. When goods are received, the system captures the supplier's lot information, facilitating effective two-way traceability later on. One standout feature is the 3D warehouse designer, which allows users to visually organize racking, aisles, and dock doors on a floor plan, and then transition seamlessly to a live operational view of the same layout. The service is available at an additional cost of £19 per full user each month, while shop-floor users are exempt from this fee. Developed in the UK, the pricing is in pounds, and a 14-day free trial is offered for new users.
