Description
Since its inception in 2002, Audio Damage has been dedicated to creating innovative tools for musicians, ranging from experimental plugins designed for digital audio workstations to high-quality hardware sequencers. Our primary mission is to make sophisticated music technology both enjoyable and user-friendly. Founded with the vision of providing musicians with unique and experimental equipment crafted in the United States, we pride ourselves on our exceptional craftsmanship. Among our offerings, the RoughRider compressor stands out as one of the most sought-after dynamics processors globally, boasting over half a million downloads throughout its more than ten years in existence and is widely utilized by producers across the globe. With the introduction of RoughRider3, we have enhanced the original model to feature an external sidechain input, the option to disable the built-in "warming" filter, and significantly improved metering capabilities. Additionally, our Ratshack Reverb plugin delivers an authentic emulation of the iconic Realistic Electronic Reverb, allowing users to capture the essence of the first analog delay unit without the hassle of changing batteries. This commitment to innovation and quality continues to drive our passion for supporting creative musicians everywhere.
Description
RhythmDelay functions as a multi-tap delay effect designed specifically for crafting intricate musical rhythms, making it an ideal tool for minimalistic music creation. Each tap is equipped with adjustable volume and panning controls, and users will appreciate that all settings are accessible directly from the panel, with the added benefit of a resizable window. It is compatible with Mac OSX (both 32-bit and 64-bit Universal Binary) and Windows (32-bit, excluding XP, and 64-bit). The device features precise time control ranging from 1ms to 48000ms, alongside a tempo synchronization option and a swing feature that enhances the delay time for irregular taps. Additionally, users can adjust the delay time magnification options, which include 1/16, 1/8, 1/4, 1/2, 1, and 2. The effect length and the effective length of each tap can be manipulated within a range of 1 to 16, providing flexibility in sound design. Furthermore, the device offers high-pass filter (HPF) settings from 20Hz to 10KHz, low-pass filter (LPF) settings from 200Hz to 22KHz, and LFO rate adjustments between 0.01Hz and 400Hz, along with customizable depth controls. Feedback and balance settings further enhance the creative possibilities, allowing for a tailored sound. The service is hosted by different10, managed by Mr. Masaru Saito; although based in Japan, the offerings are available internationally, extending its reach to a global audience. This makes RhythmDelay not just a tool, but a gateway to innovative musical expression for artists around the world.
