Description
AtomGit is a collaborative development and code hosting platform that is open-source, integrating various functions like project management, team collaboration, CI/CD, and open-source operations into a single interface. Developers have the ability to establish both public and private repositories, oversee branches and releases, conduct code reviews via pull requests, monitor issues and tasks, edit files directly in the browser, set up permissions, and analyze project metrics. The platform features a native automation engine called AtomGit Action, which utilizes a Pipeline as Code methodology, enabling teams to outline their build, test, and deployment processes in YAML format, keep these workflows alongside their application code, and activate them based on events like pushes, pull requests, or comments. Additionally, advanced delivery pipelines are supported through functionalities such as reusable workflows, artifacts, dependency caching, encrypted secrets, concurrency controls, and a choice between hosted or self-hosted runners. Moreover, AtomGit provides WebIDE capabilities that facilitate in-browser development without requiring a local setup, while also accommodating code, models, and datasets for comprehensive project management. With its user-friendly interface and robust features, AtomGit aims to enhance productivity and streamline the development process for teams of all sizes.
Description
Utilize Subversion to manage versions of individual projects or entire repositories outside of ODI, incorporating automated dependency management for ODI. The automated build process generates a release for either a single project or a full repository, resulting in an archive that can be stored for future reference. The automated deployment initiates from this archive, allowing for the restoration of the project to any designated test or production repository. Repositories are created automatically, providing a streamlined environment. As developers version their code and support for parallel development is enabled, the overall code base becomes more robust. This efficient management of various releases and hot fixes enhances speed, transparency, and reliability. Once a developer commits their code to the version control system, a comprehensive and automated workflow encompassing build, deployment, approval, and notification is activated. This entire process is designed to be dependable, reproducible, and traceable, enabling more frequent deployments and smoother transitions. By adopting this automated system, organizations can significantly improve their development cycles and overall project management efficiency.
