Description
Arkive serves as a Digital Product Passport (DPP) and supply chain compliance solution tailored for manufacturers, sustainability advisors, and product brands. This platform enables businesses to consolidate data related to products, suppliers, environmental, social, and governance (ESG) factors, as well as compliance information, while also streamlining the processes of sustainability reporting and Digital Product Passport management.
By replacing disjointed spreadsheets, PDF files, and manual reporting methods with organized and reusable product data, Arkive fosters greater transparency throughout supply chains. Organizations can efficiently oversee carbon tracking, compliance documentation, supplier interactions, and sustainability details at the product level, all within a single system.
Furthermore, the platform is designed to assist businesses in aligning with EU regulations such as the Eco-design for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) and the requirements for Digital Product Passports, serving a variety of sectors including textiles, cosmetics, electronics, batteries, and consumer goods. This comprehensive approach not only enhances compliance but also drives sustainability initiatives across diverse industries.
Description
The Digital Product Passport, developed by WIARA DAAS EOOD in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, serves as the EU's dedicated platform for product documentation. Manufacturers input their product information just once in a single language, and this data is then transformed into a static passport page distributed through a content delivery network (CDN) in all 24 official languages of the EU, accessible via a QR code or a GS1 Digital Link associated with the product.
AI automates the translation process, utilizing a language model to convert free-text entries at the time of publication, with the results stored for each manufacturer and incorporated into the passport pages; each translated term includes a notification indicating it was "automatically translated - view original," and allows for human adjustments per language.
This passport is applicable across various sectors, and we provide specific guidance for the initial product categories outlined by the Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR), including iron and steel, textiles, furniture, and construction materials, with a data model aligned with CEN/CENELEC EN 18216-18223 standards.
The service offers a free tier allowing for three passports, while additional paid tiers are available at monthly rates of 33, 125, and 419 EUR, including VAT, ensuring accessibility for manufacturers of all sizes. In this way, the Digital Product Passport not only streamlines product information management but also supports sustainability initiatives across diverse industries.
