It features a Go agent that communicates with a web control panel through outbound polling, while also offering agentless connections via SFTP, rsync, or FTP for hosts. Administrators have the capability to create backup jobs that secure various types of data, including files and databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL, as well as complete disk images or combined sets of files and databases. The platform is adept at generating encrypted and deduplicated snapshots stored in S3-compatible storage, ensuring that repositories remain isolated by host for added security. Users can automate their backup processes by scheduling incremental backups and implementing retention policies on a daily, weekly, or monthly basis, while also having the option to review point-in-time snapshots and restore selected files to different folders. Additionally, job status can be tracked through comprehensive logs, alerts, and health checks, providing peace of mind for administrators.
