Description
AXIONBIM is a software application designed for Windows that facilitates the design of light-gauge steel and prefabricated structures intended for manufacturing. Users can begin with a DXF blueprint or import projects from ArkitechDesigner (.axd) and TeoCAD (.tcf), allowing for the development of wall, floor, and roof panels, as well as openings, trusses, and cladding. The program produces rule-based framing, along with comprehensive drawings and sheets, verifies models, and generates quantities, cut lists, and pricing estimates derived from the project model. Additionally, it can export BIM models in IFC 4.3 format and produce drawings in DXF, DWG, and PDF/A formats, while also creating machine files compatible with ARK, Howick CSV, and TeoCAD AFF, although the Howick and AFF outputs are still in the experimental phase. With an interface available in both English and Turkish, AXIONBIM caters to manufacturers of light-steel and prefabricated buildings, as well as technical offices and engineering companies. This standalone Windows application offers annual subscription plans and includes a seven-day trial period for the Enterprise version, making it accessible for potential users to explore its functionalities.
Description
AutoCAD includes the 2022 Plant 3D toolset, which allows users to design and modify P&IDs, build 3D models, and generate piping orthographics and isometrics using specialized tools tailored for plant design. This toolset facilitates collaboration among project teams, ensuring compliance with industry standards while operating within a cloud-based common data environment. Standard symbol libraries, such as PIP, ISA, ISO/DIN, and JIS, are readily available in the tool palettes for efficient usage. Users can easily detect potential errors by analyzing P&IDs for data consistency based on customizable rules. Moreover, the tool enables rapid creation of 3D plant models utilizing parametric equipment modeling, structural steel libraries, and project-specific piping specifications derived from established piping catalogs. As the 3D model evolves, users can directly extract and update piping orthographic drawings, ensuring that all representations remain accurate. Additionally, collaboration with different industry disciplines is essential for generating comprehensive BIM models for plant projects, enhancing overall project efficiency and accuracy.
