Description
ADE serves as a dynamic development environment tailored for software developers leveraging AI coding agents in conjunction with Git repositories. It seamlessly organizes multiple tasks within distinct Git worktrees while integrating features such as agent chat, collaborative multi-agent sessions, terminal access, file editing, automated testing, browser-based quality assurance, automation tools, and pull-request reviews—all within a single workspace. Users can engage with ADE through desktop, browser, terminal, and iOS applications that synchronize project activities via an ADE Brain hosted on a user-controlled machine, with the added flexibility of running it on Linux without the need for a dedicated desktop application. The platform is compatible with AI tools like Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Factory Droid, and OpenCode, and it facilitates connections to GitHub and Linear for streamlined pull requests and efficient issue management workflows. Developers have the capability to review modifications, evaluate testing outcomes, and maintain their workflow across various devices, ensuring a cohesive and productive development experience. Additionally, ADE's user-friendly interface encourages collaboration and enhances productivity among teams working on complex software projects.
Description
Emdash is an open-source AI coding agent orchestration platform designed to help developers coordinate parallel software development activities. The application provides a unified workspace for launching, monitoring, and managing multiple coding agents, including Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, Gemini CLI, and other supported command-line tools. Each agent runs within a dedicated Git worktree containing its own branch, terminal session, conversation history, and code review state. This architecture enables developers to assign independent programming tasks to different agents while keeping their file modifications separated. Emdash includes a built-in browser for previewing local development servers, remote applications, and web pages without leaving the development workspace. Its version control tools support inspecting code differences, creating commits, pushing changes, opening pull requests, and monitoring continuous integration checks. Developers can configure scheduled automations for recurring activities such as bug investigations, release preparation, and repository maintenance. The platform integrates with issue tracking services such as Linear, Jira, GitHub, Notion, and Asana to provide agents with task information and project context. Emdash also supports remote development through SSH connections, reusable prompts, agent skills, MCP server configurations, and persistent terminal sessions.
