TheOpenPresenter is an entirely free and open source platform designed for presentations at churches, conferences, and various live events. Unlike traditional desktop software that needs to be installed on a single computer, it operates directly within a web browser, allowing the operator to manage the presentation seamlessly from a laptop, phone, or tablet, while the output is displayed on any connected screen.
Real-time synchronization enables several users to collaboratively create and manage a service, facilitating the inclusion of song lyrics, slides, videos, audio, and other media, all organized into scenes that can be rearranged and activated live during the event.
This project is completely open source under the AGPL-3.0 license, giving users the choice to self-host it on their own servers or utilize the hosted version available at theopenpresenter.com.
Key features include:
- Browser-based operation with no need for installation on the presenting device
- Collaborative functionality that allows multiple users to operate simultaneously
- Capability for remote control via phone, tablet, or an additional laptop, enhancing flexibility during presentations.
With TheOpenPresenter, users can enjoy a dynamic and interactive presentation experience, tailored to suit the needs of any live audience.
