Camarada, the grand prize winner of Google I/O experiments, is a 3D camera that allows you to capture 3D photos and 3D videos and create amazing 3D effects/illusions right on your screen. You can also share it with friends. It supports cardboard VR viewers (stereoscope), anaglyph red-cyan glasses (anaglyph), cross view/parallax view, and 3D TV. Solo mode allows you to quickly capture stereooscopic 3D images by simply panning your smartphone left to right. The 3D images can then be converted to 3D GIF or hologram ("tiltcard"), parallax view, cross view, or with cardboard VR observers/red-cyan 3D glasses. This mode can be used for portrait or landscape images, with either front-facing or back-facing cameras. So yes,3D selfies, too! Camarada can sync and link two smartphones to create stereo 3D videos. These videos can then be viewed in your cardboard VR viewer/stereoscope.
