The best way to speed up repetitive tasks.

    Date: Apr 29 2023

Summary: I have managed to optimize all my work processes by not having to carry out repetitive tasks that involved establishing a time for my work to be able to carry out these tasks, resulting in a loss of time and not having space in my schedule to develop in areas that I really needed. of my greatest concentration in my work environment. Therefore, Zapier helps me improve productivity since I can connect all the platforms that I mostly use in my work and automate actions that do not require me to do them manually, so if I do something, it will only be at the beginning of the whole process that Zapier will end up doing from the first action that I have done and depending on the previously scheduled tasks of course.

I consider this platform as a great tool that allows me to interconnect various platforms and automate them so as not to have to perform repetitive actions and to have free time to develop other tasks at work that do require my attention. Doing this saves time and cost. The best of all is how I can manage to build these automations between platforms with only drag and drop, I have also had the opportunity to have to develop a more direct automation through the API of each platform that I needed to connect, and everything has gone as planned, thus giving the possibility of being able to automate more thoroughly with specific things that meet my needs.

Positive: I have found this platform very easy to set up, deploy and use as most of the things that can be done within Zapier can be done via drag and drop. This way of handling the interface has made my workflow very usable as I don't have to program anything using code, I can just connect automations between platforms so I can increase productivity. I can create several commands that on this platform are called Zaps and in a matter of minutes and without entering a shred of code I can get repetitive tasks done automatically. This platform also provides several templates of different automations with different platforms, thus facilitating the improvement of the workflow and saving time in building automations by having already preset templates that can be modified later, thus adapting to the needs of each person or company.

This platform can be used for free to streamline certain processes that are really short and do not need to be executed in a large amount, this being useful for people who have repetitive tasks but that are not a great load and do not need to develop subtasks to be automated. For me, this is a good option for individuals or companies that need to try this platform for the first time and who in turn want to use Zapier without so much workload, since they may have tasks to automate but the workload run is not too much to the point that you necessarily have to opt for a plan that offers this platform. That is why this feature is ideal for small businesses that have a very low volume workflow which allows automation with this platform without having to pay for an additional cost.

The functions for advanced users are very complete, this gives you the freedom to create your own automations that are not available in Zapier or that another user has not created yet. So, it is useful that you can not only solve automations with drag and drop, but also through code to have more precise automations on the processes that you want to carry out and optimize within a company. This, added to the unlimited Zaps plan, has allowed me to achieve a high level of automation, which I do not necessarily depend on doing the same daily tasks, but simply with this platform I can see how all those cumbersome tasks are executed automatically and with great precision.

Negative: There is a big disadvantage when implementing Zapier that for me can be crucial to take into account when wanting to optimize repetitive activities within a work environment. This drawback is about the problem that some optimizations may not be available yet on some platform where you are going to connect with Zapier, so you will have to resort to having to build a custom automation from writing code which will represent a very arduous job if you do not have the knowledge in that area. This makes it quite difficult in the sense of not having the desired results trying to look for alternatives, but personally I say that connecting platforms to each other to do a custom optimization will necessarily require code, so it will take a lot of time due to the technical experience that must be had. Or simply hire an expert programmer to do the job, which is more expensive when you want to automate a feature not available in Zapier.

Another problem that I have found throughout the use that I have given to this platform is that on some occasions the automation fails, so that the execution of some Zaps fails to execute, thus wasting time by not having the automated tasks carried out. Therefore, you must be very aware of the Zaps executions because it can happen that the API of the platforms that are connecting to Zapier have drops in their execution, this being a delay in the workflows. My recommendation is that you regularly keep an eye on the execution of the Zaps to make sure that everything is running correctly and that there are no problems.

There is no way to calculate the Zaps that can be consumed within a month in order to choose a better plan and to take advantage of the resources that each plan on this platform offers. Although Zapier offers a free version of its platform, it has limitations when determining which plan a person or company really needs to automate their processes with repetitive tasks. I understand that the plans establish maximum features and zaps that can be done in a month, but this platform should be able to have a space for testing to be able to both optimize resources and also be able to choose an optimal plan that really meets the needs of a company or individual and not just pick a plan at random just because they have more features or amount of performance per month.

    It's like a virtual assistant.

    Date: Mar 12 2023

Summary: I can achieve better management in my work, thus achieving better performance without having to repeat the same tasks manually over and over again. I managed to better manage my work time, having a fairly optimized flow to be able to invest the remaining time in important projects that require a lot of attention and time which can increase the productivity of my work activities.

I improved the relationship with customers by being able to have an automated system in my sales thanks to Zapier since I didn't have to go from platform to platform to transfer data since everything is done automatically. Likewise, I have been able to generate good customer service, this being beneficial for me since I have been able to achieve all the business objectives that I had set for myself, and I currently have objectives in process that are being automated with this platform.

What I liked about this platform that has helped me a lot is that I don't have to build automations manually, everything is practically ready, so I don't have to do many configurations, I just create an execution chain with Zaps that help me to do certain things that doing it manually would take me a long time due to the large number of times I have to do it, so it is important that this platform is present in my work environment to speed up many things.

Positive: It is complemented by a large number of applications and platforms that I am using for sales and CRM, so much of my work is automated with Zapier thanks to the fact that the vast majority of platforms that I use can be directly integrated with Zapier without the need for do extensive configurations, making the work I do on a daily basis with multiple platforms fast and easy. There are very few applications that I could not connect correctly, or I had to connect manually through the API, but I was able to do this thanks to the efficient technical support that Zapier has, with great solutions and with the great knowledge that gave me an easy way to be able to connect without having many conflicts when automating.

The construction of its interface means that I can create long optimization chains and thus improve the performance of my work, so I don't have to make so much effort to manage all the platforms I use since everything is connected through drag and drop. With this I have been able to carry out many integrations and be able to do various tasks without having to repeat everything over and over again, this being a great way to be able to have more performance in my work, being able to have more time to develop myself in other areas. I like that everything is practically built and that it makes it easier for the user to just have to choose what he wants to add to group Zaps and that everything is executed using the instructions already previously configured and best of all without having to use code, unless it is They require advanced integrations of course.

It can be used for free for optimizations that do not require as much protocol and are not as constant. This can help both small businesses and individuals to primarily be able to test the functionality and performance of this platform, and secondly to be able to do certain automations that give them the freedom to use that time implemented to do the same tasks. in other things. So, I'm sure it can be useful on several occasions, although it seems very few actions that can be done with Zapier, it is not, since great things can be achieved with few payments or Zaps. In the event that large amounts of data, information and tasks really need to be optimized, it is advisable to use a payment plan that adjusts to the optimization needs of each company or individual that is going to use this platform.

Negative: To be able to fully customize an integration with a platform for functions that are not available in Zapier there is a tool that this platform presents that is for developers. The case that it is not so easy to be able to build an automation if you do not have the knowledge given for this type of solution. Because although Zapier is oriented to No-Code there is also a section to be able to develop integrations through programming, however, it requires being able to completely eat the documentation that Zapier presents and in addition to obviously having vast knowledge in programming. So, there is no easy way to build custom integrations of the applications that one uses other than doing it all through code that not many people know how to handle this completely because it requires time of experience. It is not a disadvantage that makes the difference between being able to use this platform or not, however, it is a point that must be taken into account before counting on Zapier for integrations and that certain functionalities are not available because Zapier has not created them yet. This is a challenge for any company to have everything it needs for a correct and complete integration.

It requires a lot of testing to verify that all Zaps are working properly as they sometimes stop working and Zapier doesn't notify you when something is going wrong, so it's hard to know when something isn't working right now. I just realize that something is wrong. when the final run fails to run correctly or at all. That's why I would like to be notified when the end result of an automation doesn't work correctly, so I can correct the failure or at least know what is failing. Because sometimes the optimization fails and I have to start all over again to find out which platform is causing the problem and thus know what temporary solutions to apply, because if something fails, I can create a second plan to be able to continue everything, being able to skip several steps and that everything flows without interruptions until the problem is solved.

It is the best platform for automations.

    Date: Jan 30 2023

Summary: This platform avoids the fact that you have to do automations programmatically since not all of us are used to dealing with extensive code or reading the documentation of an API to perform automations. Zapier provides a no-code solution to be able to carry out automations between different platforms that facilitate the entire work process by making the entries to each of the connected platforms automatic and bilateral.

It allows me to send messages scheduled by Slack and also schedule meetings by video calls and automatically send reminders, that and many more solutions allows me to do this platform without having to do the same work several times, but simply do repetitive tasks are carried out automatically without any interruption. There are certain platforms that are not available for automation, an example would be WhatsApp, however it would not be surprising if in the future it is implemented to be able to perform automations with this instant messaging application as it currently does with Messenger which has several integrations such as automatic responses.

This platform increases efficiency within the company by reducing all repetitive processes or tasks considerably, giving way to business activities that require more effort and time. This improves the performance of each employee who needs to increase productivity in other areas since they do not have to go through repetitive processes that lower the performance of an employee, so using this platform provides good business efficiency results. In addition, the learning curve with Zapier is not that difficult, so it could easily be implemented in any company, in case you want more functions, you will have to apply more professional methods with programming as I have already mentioned before.

Positive: * The number of platforms that can be integrated into Zapier is large, it has all the automations and compatibilities of each of the platforms regardless of its use or what type of platform it is. The connection speed between platforms is very fast, so there will be no worries if the response time or the execution of each Zap will be slow since the data transfer is fast and you can also do multiple steps of multiple applications at the same time if required without problem to the system collapsing or delaying.

    * The measurable costs that Zapier offers are accessible, they adapt both to the user and to a team or company, although I see the Company plan as a bit expensive for the few solutions it provides, however I know that for security reasons large companies would obtain said plan since it includes some security around more administrative control and more secure logins. As for the rest, all the plans provide good features that adjust to different needs, Zapier also allows you to purchase a plan according to the tasks required monthly, making the purchase of this platform more personalized, so you can easily have a plan minor with basic things that execute a large number of tasks, having an additional cost of course.

    * All the programming of the automations is done through the website, so it is not necessary to carry out tedious installations to be able to implement and start using this platform, there will be no problems or errors because there is no software to install other than just the version browser extension that makes it easier to add automations and get some tips for creating Zaps. A mobile version would not be bad since I could create automations and Zaps with my mobile phone but for now we have to wait for them to publish a version for iOS or Android devices.

    * You can see the history of the executed Zaps executed, thus having a good management of the message tasks and not having task waste due to bad automations, also determining how many tasks are needed monthly to increase or decrease tasks, thus being able to save on the monthly payment of Zapier. It also gives me suggestions with the platforms that I am using to make it easier and to be able to reduce the tasks by having better optimization solutions.

Negative: * For more advanced functions, it requires more advanced users, since despite the fact that this platform provides automation without using a line of code, there are also times when advanced functions are required and this will require programming. This can be complicated for some people since you have to be well documented both how to program in Zapier and also take into account the documentation of each API of each connected platform. So you have to look around a bit before you buy Zapier by testing with the basic features and that is the most I could get this platform to do before I have problems in the future for not having a feature and having to program it.

    * It only has live support if you purchase an enterprise plan, this is unheard of since I can understand that doing it individually would have slow response times when you want to contact someone from support. But what I can't understand as I don't have support with a Teams plan, this is disappointing since sometimes I need live solutions and I have to choose to contact support through other ways making it not very practical given the late response time that you have

    * If the steps are programmed wrong, it will take time to find the solution to what is causing the problem since there is no way to easily detect a failure or bad configuration, so you have to think carefully how to organize the Zaps so that you do not have problems in the process. So, I recommend having the clear points of what is going to be automated and how you want to apply that automation within Zapier so that there are no problems and confusion, also carry out the respective tests to know that everything is working as expected.

It is like a main panel of different platforms connected to each other.

    Date: Dec 29 2022

Summary: I have automated several of the platforms that I use within my platform, both emails with MailChimp, as well as project management platforms such as Airtable and also Zoho CRM. All this in one place without having to do it separately. In addition to the returns that I have obtained, once I have understood how to make the most of the "Zaps" I managed to make everything work well, yes, it took me a lot of work to understand the correct function to take advantage of even the smallest movement that is made with this platform, since each waste that is made is likely to have to pay more than what is being received, so you have to take precautions and analyze together with the IT department the necessary steps to have a correct automation at the lowest possible cost so that it can be seen reflected positively in the accounts of the company. Another solution that I have obtained within my company is the possibility of connecting platforms to each other, which was not possible if it was done directly within them since they were not compatible or an integration was not available for both parties, so with Zapier I have been able to able to connect this without needing to do it manually by passing information from one platform to another.

Positive: + The range of integration with most of the platforms that provide solutions for any type of business or company is very wide, this is what I found most useful to be able to use with Zapier since many optimization platforms do not have all the platforms I work with, so it's annoying having to have separate platforms for my work when I can't find a place with integration like this. So with Zapier this was the solution that had a positive impact within my company, being able to automate all the platforms that I use in my company was the most useful and practical thing I could have had.

+ Zapier is not difficult at all to be able to integrate into any company since it is not difficult to manage within its interface, what I would recommend is to be well informed regarding the documentation (which has little information) or consult experts for the correct automation of the platforms you use within your company. Although it is simple, what is not easy is being able to take advantage of this platform, I mean that Zapier is simple, but not easy to use the platform itself.

+ The APIs of different platforms can be connected and this is what Zapier does magic, since I only have to combine the different functions between different platforms, making it not need manual inputs, but everything is connected to each other. It's like I have a main electrical panel to which I have many cables connected in one place. But the best thing is that this is fed back by both parties, from one platform to another and vice versa.

+ The speed of data transfer between different platforms is extremely fast. The only problem I would have is when the APIs fail, otherwise everything works without a problem and you get results instantly as Zapier gets to work connecting different platforms together. So I had no problems when I used this platform for the first time, once everything was connected I could see how everything flowed without the need to make manual entries between platforms when they did not have integrations with each other.

Negative: - I don't like how the system in which this platform works is since everything you do is charged for "Zap" which you have to be careful about what to spend the Zaps since it would have a negative impact on the return on investment when paying for this platform. Although sometimes the action or automation is not executed and it can be a problem because there is no way to have a resolution to this problem since there is no way to prove that an action was executed within this platform, the one way to know is to see that there is no automation and it is annoying because even if the automation has not been executed I have to pay with my Zaps.

    - The prices for small businesses can be expensive when you want to automate everything with Zapier, it has a free version that for me would be useful for businesses that do not need much automation, however it is very limited in its functions that makes you have to pay to be able to take very little advantage of the tools they offer when paying and also can cause a negative impact on investment by not understanding how to manage resources when automating applications within the company.

    - More documentation and tutorials are needed to have a good management within this platform and get the best performance without having losses or bad optimization within Zapier. From everything I've read about the documentation it's very basic and doesn't offer much when it comes to explaining how to get the most out of it with examples, it seems that this platform is willing to make the end user pay more and get good performance in the long run, so that if you want short-term solutions you should learn to use this platform because otherwise it will be a headache on your bills and also you will not see good results when analyzing performance reports.

    - This platform is new to connecting apps for automation, so it may have errors in the process or not all features are available for automation. I recommend getting information before using this platform and knowing what it does and what it can't do for different reasons with other platforms when you want to carry out an automation. In general, for me, most of the platforms that I use and that are connected to Zapier have worked well, some meanings one or the other, but at the end of the day it has performed very well for me.

A small investment for a ton of savings...

    Date: Jul 19 2022

Summary: Pretty brilliant, actually. I've looked and continue to watch competitors, and haven't found any that can do what Zapier does as easily.

Positive: Using Zapier to stitch together various software packages has saved us in so many ways - in reduced labor, in increased accuracy, and in increased responsiveness.

For example, orders that we receive through multiple ecommerce channels automatically generate invoices, get placed on our production calendar, and send alerts to buyers. Handling this manually would open us up to errors and delays.

Negative: It's advertised as a low-code - no-code solution. But to get the most out of it, you better be prepared to have a JavaScript or Python programmer on hand. The standard "zaps" (software interfaces) can be somewhat limited.

WooCommerce zaps, for example, can only pass through basic order information, and don't handle WooCommerce plugins very well. To get to plugin data, you need to examine the order object using the WooCommerce API.

    Great for automating monotonous tasks

    Date: Mar 25 2022

Summary: Zapier is a great tool I use to capture analytics from one platform and track it in google drive, or add contacts automatically to my CRM when they fill out an online form. It has so many possible uses.

Positive: - Integrates with many online software solutions
    - Runs automatically
    - Offers a free plan for starting out and testing

Negative: Although Zapier integrates with a software, it doesn't necessarily have the ability to do any function you want within that software. Zapier does allow you to customize zaps by building your own, but I'm not a coder and therefore find this difficult. Overall, not a big drawback.

We’ve been using Zapier for over 2 years

    Date: Jan 26 2022

Summary: This is a great service to automate daily repetitive tasks, thus saving you a lot of time to focus on income generating tasks. Once you get over the initial learning curve of setting up the automations, it’s a great option.

Positive: Once you get your zaps set up properly, it’s a great way to automate repetitive tasks. We’ve saved a lot of time by automating these daily tasks. Now we can focus more time on income generating tasks. Customer service was also very friendly and supportive in creating the zaps.

Negative: In the beginning, it was a little overwhelming setting up the zaps, from a technical standpoint. However, once you get a hang of it, it becomes much easier. Also, as mentioned, customer service was very responsive and great for helping out.

    The best option for automation

    Date: Oct 20 2021

Summary: The best automation tool out there. It has a lot of integration and it is very easy to get started. Be careful on pricing as you scale though, take some time to correctly implement zaps and be efficient to not waste money.

Positive: They have an extremely large amount of integrations across services and their documentation is very good. They are also pretty easy to use for a beginner.

Negative: If you want to do anything moderate to complex there definitely is a learning curve. some cases it could be helpful to hire someone to add a bit of code to the offering, even though this is supposed to be a no code solution. Pricing can start to increase heavily as you scale.

Couldn't do what we do without Zapier!

    Date: Aug 27 2021

Summary: Overall I cannot say enough good things about Zapier as a backend support tool for small, agile groups doing a lot with a little!

Positive: Easy to use, great user interface to build integrations for non-technical people. The suite of integrations is also impressive, connect any number of tools to automate workflows and remove human error.

Negative: No cons that I can think of. I use Zapier to connect to Google sheets, calendar, zoom, email, website, newsletter system, and so much more!

    Date: Aug 12 2021

Summary: Zapier takes all the legwork out of connecting apps and services. Working in marketing and education, I often need a spreadsheet of leads that have come in and Zapier seamlessly does it for me and sends a copy to the people who need to be in the loop.

Positive: Step-by-step set up on Zaps makes things super easy - I've never needed to open another tab to troubleshoot something in Zapier. Clear instructions and a great Help section.

Negative: Errors can sometimes be hard to figure out. After following all of the steps to a T, it can be frustrating to go back and try to figure out what went wrong if attention to detail isn't your forte.

The glue that holds it all together

    Date: Jan 20 2021

Summary: This is a MUST for most small businesses, especially if you're using more than 1 software (email, CRM, SMS, scheduler, the works).

Positive: Zapier completely powered up my business. The ability to link software together and have things trigger and run automatically has been huge for my small business. The software library is huge. The UI is easy to work with, the software works as intended.

Negative: Some of the more complicated zaps can get a little tricky. If they had some video tutorials more conveniently placed when trying to create zaps it might lower the barrier to entry for the more complex skills.
