Summary: MonsterInsights is a WordPress plugin that lets you integrate Google Analytics into your WordPress website and access it right from the dashboard. It has a ton of excellent features and is quite easy to setup & use as well. Although most of the advanced features are available for the paid version ( which is quite expensive ) there is a free version with basic features, which works great as well.

Negative: Expensive pro version, Most of the advanced features are in Pro version. It should be made cheaper for individual sites.

Summary: MonsterInsights is a powerful Google Analytics plugin. Overall I used MonsterInsights in my WordPress website and it provided me a very clean and user friendly experience. It tracks, analyzes and gives realtime stats. It makes happen to see all Google analytics on the WordPress dashboard. Plugin installation is also very easy.

Positive: It shows analytical data from Google Analytics on a single WordPress dashboard. It also tracks outbound links and tells stats. It provides very accurate data with a clean user interface. Installation of the plugin is also very easy.

Negative: MonsterInsights worked outstanding for me. Don't have any con to share.

Summary: Overall it's a great and easy way to see stats inside of your WordPress dashboard and is easy to follow.

Positive: Super good plugin to use for helping see your site's analytics inside of your dashboard on WordPress.

Negative: It does require a subscription vs a free option.

Summary: I would not purchase this program again. If you have already purchased it, and did not get your refund within 14 days, you must ensure that auto-renewal is turned off so that it does not continue charging your card. For the average user like myself, this program is essentially a paid version of Google Analytics. There is very little to differentiate itself from GA and the support team would not refund any of my money when I asked.

Positive: The only differentiating feature is that this program operates within your WordPress browser, compared to Google Analytics which does not. I haven't found any features in this program that are different from the free Google offerings, but I was told by the support team that there are some. I was also appreciative of the support team turning off "Auto-Renewal" when I complained about the product (which I hadn't realized was activated by default anyways).

Negative: Almost everything Monster Insights features, is already included in Google Analytics. You must sign up for Google Analytics in order to use MI, so I haven't found this product to be of much use... The "Search Console Report" keeps producing an error message. The product has a 14-day refund policy, but it takes longer than that to get any meaningful results and to set it up with Google and then within WordPress. When I contacted the company about this issue, and the fact that their program doesn't offer much more than Google Analytics, they cited their refund policy, and cancelled the "Automatic Subscription Renewal" that apparently comes activated so that it will automatically renew itself for a year if you don't turn it off. Absolutely not worth the money. There are free options that are just as helpful.
