Positive: Has a plethora of functions and ability. You can use assessments and live coding for software coding assessments. The developers at our company have ease of access to this platform and easily found their way around it.
Negative: No real major cons here. Sometimes the software acts funny with microphones, making it hard to hear what a candidate is saying

Summary: I have used HackerRank in college, it is a decent programming platform which hosts a lot of competitions and provides a great platform for coders in the international standard. It also has content for learning. The IDE is not as good as the eclipse or Netbeans. Some times the test cases are redundant. On an overall level, hacker rank is Avery good platform to grow and find opportunities.
