    All in one solution

    Date: Jul 29 2023

Summary: It's essential for data analysis and visualizations, with a user-friendly interface that's welcoming for beginners. Advanced features may require a learning curve, but they are powerful once mastered. Occasional glitches and limitations in handling big data sets are minor hiccups in an otherwise top-notch software.

Positive: Microsoft Excel is the present's leading hero tool for all solutions to accounting, statistical analysis, and graphical representation, and now it is a more advanced feature to run API from the macros.

Negative: The learning steep is high for formulas, macros, and coding.

    It's Excel

    Date: Jan 09 2023

Summary: Been using excel for a long time and it is pretty much universally used at corporations. Lots of potential depending on your skill level.

Positive: So many possibilities! You can do so much with this program once you build the skillset. Luckily there are tons of resources online and you can learn it all on your own.

Negative: Date formatting is a mess at times. Sometimes you just want a number but it turns to a date, and vice-versa.

Good Old Excel The Ingenious Spreadsheet

    Edited: May 04 2021

Summary: The use of spreadsheets was very useful even before computers. As a computer science teacher, I can teach a lot of things from it that also develop computer literacy.

Positive: Excel is maybe the best software from Microsoft.
There are hundreds of very useful functions: mathematical operations, sorting, filtering and I could even classify indefinitely.
Perhaps few people know it but a complete programming language (Visual Basic for Applications) is also hidden in it.

Negative: It's hard to say any wrong about it. First my students afraid of it.

Summary: I love using Excel. I am an avid user and I learn about a new way to format data, a new formula, etc. almost every day.

Everything is better when you do it in Excel!

    Date: Apr 14 2020

Summary: My favorite software for just about any routine task. Graphs, tables, making to-do lists, doing comparative mathematics etc. There are functions to do just about anything if you put your mind to it.

Positive: Very flexible and useful for a whole host of different tasks. Formulas can be used to configure just about any set of information into any format you need.

Negative: My only regret is that there are people who still build tables in MS Word... I have tried to convert everyone to Excel that I can.
