White Backup Description
The operational framework of White Backup revolves around the implementation of tasks, each comprising a series of actions. A task represents the complete set of actions designated for execution within the current project. For instance, when backing up the source texts of a project, only a single action is needed—moving the files to the designated folder. Additionally, it is possible to incorporate extra actions into a project, such as removing all temporary files after the packing process, thereby resulting in a task with two actions. Users can initiate task execution directly from the main White Backup interface, set it to run on a schedule, or trigger it via a hotkey. Multiple tasks can run in parallel, with each task methodically carrying out all the actions specified in its properties window. Users have the flexibility to pause or terminate a task at any time by utilizing the toolbar buttons available in the main window. If a task is interrupted, the outcomes of the actions already executed, including copied files and created archives, will be preserved. Moreover, this system allows for a customizable workflow, enabling users to tailor their backup processes according to specific needs.
