Summary: A++++ I can not express enough how great VolunteerLocal is. Every staff member is so friendly and eager to answer any question that I may have.

Positive: VolunteerLocal has made my job as coordinator of 1,200 volunteers for a one day large event so much easier. At a push of a button all of the shifts and information seamlessly transfers from one year to the next. If I do need a refresher course or any help the staff of VolunteerLocal is always ready to help. I wish everything in my life was this easy!

Negative: I can’t think of any cons. I used to have to Manila at rebuild my site every year - over 1,200 shifts with descriptions! VolunteerLocal has freed up my time as a volunteer immensely.

Summary: VolunteerLocal has been amazing through the years, and continues to grow their services as our events grow. Truly amazing!

Positive: VolunteerLocal is a database that supports of our organization's volunteer tracking needs, and provides ease of use for the volunteers.

The team at VolunteerLocal is like a family.

Negative: VolunteerLocal is amazing - there are no cons that I have experienced.

Summary: I have been using Volunteer Local for about 6 years now, with multiple organizations, and absolutely love it! Very user friendly and easy to navigate. Support staff is friendly and quick to respond. I would HIGHLY recommend Volunteer Local to any organization to effectively manage and communicate with their volunteer pool, large or small.

Positive: Amazing response time for any technical support related questions. The program itself is very easy to navigate. Love that you can purchase features separately from a different plan without having to upgrade your plan.

Negative: A little bit pricier than some other softwares out there, but honestly it is worth it. Support staff is kind and are responsive communicators.

Positive: We had been looking for a program that could help us organize our volunteers and reduce the amount of paperwork that our shift supervisors had to do beforehand. Other programs we looked at seemed too technical without a programing background. The set up was easy and the page's overall appearance was able to mirror our website. Customer support was always available when we needed them and able to resolve any questions quickly. The ability to add multiple users who could extract signups was a huge bonus. Even the ability to issue a refund was painless. Most importantly, it was self-explanatory to our volunteers who tend to be nervous about technology.

Negative: Nothing of note. Our happiness with Volunteer Local exceeds any slight issue that we encountered.

Summary: Our overall experience has been great. All of the account reps are wonderful, and really take the time to listen to you. I've always been able to reach them when needed. VL is also super user-friendly for both us and the volunteer signing up. A win-win!

Positive: Our festival has used VolunteerLocal for a few years now, and we love everything about it. The price is very affordable, which was and is very important to us, but the customer service is even better! Even if it doesn't have everything we need, the staff at VL is willing to work with us for a workaround.

Negative: I was sad to see that some of the a-la-carte features went into the new upper plans, and that you had to do 2 items minimum.

Summary: Overall we love using Volunteer Local! It has been great for our Nonprofit and we would highly recommend it to others!

Positive: Our organization works with youth volunteers and this is the best software we've been able to find that lets us collect volunteer information, lets them sign up for shifts online and tracks volunteer hours! We use it every single day. Although there have been some issues with the software, the support people have always been super helpful!

Negative: We've had a few issues with the software regarding multiple kids signing up under the same email. Although this caused some issues on our end, the support team at Volunteer Local was able to quickly fix the problem!

Summary: We really enjoy the individualized attention and flexibility to adjust the system to our organization's needs. The VL team is super responsive and always looking for ways to enhance the system.

Positive: This system is very easy to use. The VL team is super responsive and there are always improvements being made to the system with customer needs in mind.

Negative: There are a couple of areas that we are waiting to be more fluid with our donor system but the VL team is currently working on making it happen.
