Verizon Visual Voicemail Description
Basic Visual Voicemail provides an organized list of your voicemails, allowing you to select which ones to listen to, delete, or respond to via call or text. In contrast, Premium Visual Voicemail and Voicemail to Text services on iPhone offer transcription for the first 45 seconds of your voicemails, enabling you to read them instead of listening. All Verizon mobile devices support basic audio voicemail, and you can always access your voicemails by dialing *86 from your phone. Basic Visual Voicemail comes at no additional cost with your smartphone plan, but it is not available for Android users with prepaid accounts. For those using Android or Windows devices, Premium Visual Voicemail is available for a monthly fee of $2.99 per line, though it too is unavailable on prepaid plans. Keep in mind that depending on your specific plan, you may face extra data charges while using Visual Voicemail, as downloads may be billed per megabyte or according to your existing data package. Furthermore, standard rates will apply for any calls, emails, or messages sent from the Visual Voicemail interface, and mobile-to-mobile minutes do not apply to these actions. Therefore, it is wise to be aware of potential costs associated with using these voicemail services while managing your communication efficiently.

Awful - Has Barely Worked on My Verizon Galaxy 23+ Date: Feb 08 2025
Summary: Bad. Disappointing. Hours on phone with Verizon and Samsung but neither can make it work. Something to consider if buying a Samsung with Verizon if you need voicemail.
Positive: Comes with phone manufacturer installed. If it worked it would be great. Worked on past phones before 2023.
Negative: Doesn't appear to be able to be un-installed. Brakes all the time, no notice f voicemail, tough or impossible to fix, tough to replace.

Terrible Misleading Product Edited: Jul 27 2024
Summary: Its a terrible and inefficient system that cant do things that are crucial to many people. Don't waste your money !
Positive: Seeing the text is nice. Thats it.
Negative: 1) When you archive, it doesn't save the NAME of the caller that showed when it was unheard

2) The archive should allow me to create folders or categories. In my position, I am never allowed to delete ANY vmail
3) YOU ADVERTISED THAT THIS SERVICE ALSO ALLOWED ONE TO BOTH SEND AND RECEIVE FAXES. THERE IS NO FAX CAPABILITY OF ANY KIND.
4) When I archive a call, I should be able, right THEN, to rename from your gibberish AND I should be allowed to set any place on my phone or cloud to save it
DON'T YOU UNDERSTAND HOW CRITICAL THIS STUFF IS? AND WHY ARE YOU ADVERTISING FAXING CAPABILITIES THAT YOU DON'T HAVE?
