Mixtral 8x22B
Mistral AI
FreeMixtral 8x22B is our latest open model. It sets new standards for performance and efficiency in the AI community. It is a sparse Mixture-of-Experts model (SMoE), which uses only 39B active variables out of 141B. This offers unparalleled cost efficiency in relation to its size. It is fluently bilingual in English, French Italian, German and Spanish. It has strong math and coding skills. It is natively able to call functions; this, along with the constrained-output mode implemented on La Plateforme, enables application development at scale and modernization of tech stacks. Its 64K context window allows for precise information retrieval from large documents. We build models with unmatched cost-efficiency for their respective sizes. This allows us to deliver the best performance-tocost ratio among models provided by the Community. Mixtral 8x22B continues our open model family. Its sparse patterns of activation make it faster than any 70B model. -

Stable Diffusion
Stability AI
$0.2 per imageWe have all been overwhelmed by the response over the past few weeks and have been hard at work to ensure a safe release. We have incorporated data from our beta models and community for developers to use. HuggingFace's tireless legal, technology and ethics teams and CoreWeave's brilliant engineers worked together. An AI-based Safety Classifier has been developed and is included as a default feature in the overall software package. This can understand concepts and other factors over generations to remove outputs that are not desired by the model user. This can be easily adjusted, and we welcome suggestions from the community on how to improve it. Although image generation models are powerful, we still need to improve our understanding of how to best represent what we want. -

Whisper
OpenAI
We have developed and are open-sourcing Whisper, a neural network that approximates human-level robustness in English speech recognition. Whisper is an automated speech recognition (ASR), system that was trained using 680,000 hours of multilingual, multitask supervised data from the internet. The use of such a diverse dataset results in a better resistance to accents, background noise, technical language, and other linguistic issues. It also allows transcription in multiple languages and translation from these languages into English. We provide inference code and open-sourcing models to help you build useful applications and further research on robust speech processing. The Whisper architecture is an end-to-end, simple approach that can be used as an encoder/decoder Transformer. The input audio is divided into 30-second chunks and converted into a log Mel spectrogram. This then goes into an encoder. -

LangChain
LangChain
We believe that the most effective and differentiated applications won't only call out via an API to a language model. LangChain supports several modules. We provide examples, how-to guides and reference docs for each module. Memory is the concept that a chain/agent calls can persist in its state. LangChain provides a standard interface to memory, a collection memory implementations and examples of agents/chains that use it. This module outlines best practices for combining language models with your own text data. Language models can often be more powerful than they are alone. -
