To boost performance, NiceCopier establishes a task queue when copying files to or from the same drive that is currently in use. By default, the application delays the display of new tasks by 2 seconds, which contributes to improved efficiency. However, if this feature is disabled, NiceCopier will show the same icons as Windows Explorer, albeit at the cost of longer loading times for the task list. Additionally, users have a 5-second window to cancel a task after a cut-and-paste operation is completed, preventing unintended deletion of source files. This thoughtful design ensures a smoother experience while managing file transfers.
