Summary: I would say it was a terrible experience that is still ongoing. Even with broken systems, they will not let you out of your account.

Positive: The ease of filtering. You can view leads several different ways and categorize them for easy follow up.

Negative: As a Realtor whom has used many different lead systems, this is by far the worst I’ve invested thousands of dollars into. Not only was I mislead regarding the performance of their systems, but I was also mislead regarding the term of our agreement. After 9 months of paying for the marketing systems through Smart Targeting, I have had $0 return. In the beginning, they promised their mailout leads would come with email and phone numbers, when possible. Well, a few months in they started charging $ per lead to provide that information. Half the time, the information you were then paying for was inaccurate. I brought this to light a few months in and even adjusted my price range to open up “more opportunity”, but that failed yet again. My follow up systems are impeccable and I am using other lead systems which have generated $10million in listings, so it is not a systems malfunction on my end. It is Smart Targeting that is ineffective.
Beyond Smart Targeting, Top Producer was sold about a year ago and it is a total failure as well, which is sad because it used to be such a great system. Their Listing Alerts, designed to send listings to prospective buyers, does not function well and does not track what has been sent to clients. Then, their texting system, which is great for lead follow up, malfunctions and will send clients text messages in the middle of the night, 3am even! I 100% lost a client because they said “I won’t do business with someone that texts me at 3am”. I sleep at 3am and expect my systems that are set to send texts from 8am – 7pm to send texts ONLY during those hours. I lost that $700,000 buyer ($21K commission) and Top Producer, nor Smart Targeting offered one cent credit for the issue they caused. Forwarding several months, after continued challenges which are NOT being addressed/fixed by Top Producer and continued $0 return from Smart Targeting, I requested to cancel and they are actually wanting me to pay a fee to cancel. Unreal.
Stay far away from this package. There are several other CRM and Lead Generating systems out there that actually work.

Summary: I have been with Top Producer for a long time and just now understanding its value - it beats anything else out there for CRM's in my opinion.

Positive: Your whole business is right in front of you - you can work on your business, not in your business. Believe you can work less and earn more with Top Producer the system once set up can be automated.

Negative: The transfer from TopProducer 8i to TPX - I like the look of 8i better but I am getting used to TPX.

Summary: Overall its a good product and when used diligently can be an excellent tool for business. It has helped me manage my business.

Positive: This product is great. It has helped me for over 20 years. It evolves with the changing times and makes my life easier.

Negative: Sometimes it can be confusing. I wish we could only input our clients info instead of having to put in the other side if it's sold by another agent.

Summary: I will continue to use TP. I keep track of my listings/sales transactions. I can easily find a client's record and can add notes so I can remember our last conversation.

Positive: I have been using Top Producer as my CRM since TP5! It's the easiest way to keep in touch with my past clients & leads.

Negative: I need to learn how to use TPX. I don't like the email integration. And I am not showing my sales history.
I liked it when I could call in and customer service could answer my question. Now I need to send an email and wait a few days for an answer ... which usually leads to more questions!!!

Summary: Great customer service and navigation to help me with creating my new web site. Wonderful way to manage your customer data base as well.

Positive: I have used Top Producer for over 25+ years! Great software to keep me organized with all my clients. It is a great way to keep track of my listings and closing and following up with all my clients. Perfect program to use in my Listing and Buyer presentation folders. Could not be this successful with out Top Producer.

Negative: Having to start all over and create a new Web Site that was lost from Realtor.com

Summary: I rely on this program for my day to day business especially the listing and closing plans that I have created for myself.

Positive: I have been using TP for almost 20 years. I could not be as productive without it. I depend on the program everyday. I am hoping that TPX will eventually have all the letters, templates, and plans that I have worked so hard to individualize for me.

Negative: TPX does not have all the templates mentioned above.
