SysQue Description

Trimble SysQue enables engineers, detailers, and fabricators to collaborate effectively by creating digitized, real-world models within Autodesk Revit. This innovative tool allows for the design of practical MEP models that reflect true constructibility. By utilizing a comprehensive database of over eight million parts, users can ensure that their content remains current and can easily request additional items as needed. The platform enhances modeling by allowing for the selection of materials and sizes that correspond to actual manufacturer products. Furthermore, it fosters collaboration among project stakeholders by maintaining a unified constructible model from the initial design phase through to construction. With its rich features, Trimble SysQue significantly streamlines workflows, assists in achieving LOD 400 detailing, and ensures accuracy in real-time applications. By enabling users to detail directly on top of a generic Revit model, SysQue maximizes efficiency and effectiveness in the design process. Overall, Trimble SysQue represents a crucial advancement in the construction modeling landscape.

Trimble SysQue product continues to decline

    Date: Jul 06 2022

Summary: SysQue has some really great features and capabilities for MEP modeling in Revit. Operators will spend a lot of time fixing and tracking down issues. The product is getting to intelligent which slows modeling down and it will often behave in a way that does not align with what the users want.

Positive: The product I great to sending duct, and pipe for fabrication. I will create fabrication pieces as you draw.

Negative: Over 3 years, the product gets slower. Some issues don't get fixed. They have a plan for where they are taking the product but it doesn't line up with what the customers want. The program has the ability to update content but the updates will screw up custom user settings and then they have to be redone. We don't often see direct fixes to issues. Users are told it will be worked on for the next update so users have to deal with the issue for 2-3 months or more and manage the error themselves.

    BEWARE

    Date: Jan 25 2022

Summary: Trash - find an alternative. I'm still wondering where the value is. Seems like there are plenty of other resources to do the same things.

Positive: Great salesmen - sold as a flawless tool - when in fact your company will become SysQue R&D department. Updates continually cause errors for things that were not part of what was supposed to be fixed.

Negative: Terrible execution of the product - always a problem that SysQue is aware of that never gets fixed. Operators must figure out issues on their own.... if they ever figure it out.
