Filecoin allows for long-term storage of the data, so even if nft.storage goes down or is attacked, the NFT data will still be there. You can also provide redundancy by setting up your own IPFS node, and pin the CIDs of any content uploaded to NFT.Storage. Alternately you can use an additional pin service for redundancy (NFT.Storage already does it when it backs up to Pinata).
