Works nicely with Netflix Date: Apr 03 2020
Summary: I've owned a Surfshark account for a bit less than half a year, but so far it's been good. I don’t torrent much because I use Netflix a lot, so my main amusement now has been to jump through different servers to see what new content I can find. Also, I like that the app has some indicators close to every server to see how crowded it is, so if I notice some slowness I change to a less crowded one. Simple.
Positive: Has indicators of how crowded a server is, cheap, easy to use.
Negative: Sometimes, the Netflix library wouldn’t change, but then I realized I needed to clean cache & cookies and everything was back to normal.

Good provider Date: Mar 24 2020
Summary: I got their VPN during Black Friday, which is quite sometime back. I use it on my PC and Android, haven’t had any issues as of yet. One really cool thing is that on Android phones, they have a GPS spoofing feature, which means not only your IP address changes but also the location of your phone, I have to say it's pretty cool. Haven't seen other providers offering that.
Positive: Has GPS spoofing feature, works on Android and Windows.
Negative: 1-month subscription is a bit expensive, but the 2-year deal is reasonably cheap

A very convenient proxy service. Date: Mar 19 2026
Summary: A very convenient proxy service. However, the proxies themselves aren’t the “cleanest.” I removed the Eastern European geo and had to look for an alternative service.
Positive: There are many good geos, fast connection, and the regular updates are also a plus. I can recommend this service.
Negative: They removed RU, BY, and similar geos. They seemed to be available before, but now I can’t find them. That’s disappointing.

My general overview with Surfshark Date: Nov 09 2020
Summary: I can't complain much since Surfshark has made everything possible to access geo-locked websites from anywhere.
Positive: I like the fact that Surfshark makes it easy for me to access websites that are prohibited or rather restricted in our location.
Negative: They have incorporated minimal servers unlike other RDPs out there.

Superfast VPN Date: Oct 09 2020
Summary: Overall it's been a great experience using Surfshark VPN and it provides all the advanced protocols for virtual connections.
Positive: Surfshark provides excellent speeds when we connect to VPN through it's servers and doesn't affect the overall experience of internet usage and streaming at all.
Negative: There are some limitations in whitelisting feature in ATV application, which need to be rectified.

Functions as advertised Date: May 15 2020
Summary: What I liked about this VPN is that it has some features and benefits that other VPNs don’t. The unlimited device logins is definitely a bonus. It has this feature that blocks ads for you, and I read there are also some features, which help you track your accounts and inform you if you get hacked, but you have to pay extra for them. All in all, a pretty nice VPN, would recommend.
Positive: Good security protocols, unlimited device logins, a decent number of servers, and country options.
Negative: Mainly use it for torrenting, the speed drops a bit, but that would probably happen with any VPN, so not disappointed that much.

Easy to use for newbies Date: Apr 29 2020
Summary: As a user that is not that tech-savvy, I was searching for something easy to use and operate. In a couple of Surfshark reviews, I saw that it was mentioned as a user-friendly VPN, that’s good for newbies, so I decided to risk it. I definitely wasn’t disappointed. Coming back to the features they offer, I can say they are pretty nice, although not always very useful for a tech newbie like me. The reason why I use Surfshark the most is for streaming on Netflix. Guilty as charged!
Positive: Easy to use, has a lot of interesting features I haven’t seen in other providers. Works with Netflix.
Negative: From all the additional features only used cleanweb, which I have to admit is pretty nice when trying to avoid ads.

Works with Playstation Date: Apr 21 2020
Summary: At first, I didn’t believe that having a VPN would help me solve this problem, but surprisingly it worked. You have to look for less crowded servers, but it’s easy to spot them, so it’s not such a big issue. On another note, I have only tried streaming on Hulu (it was able to pass the regional block), but I haven’t tried it with other sites yet.
Positive: Reduces ping when gaming and works smoothly on Playstation. Allows accessing Hulu streaming site.
Negative: Some extra features are not very useful in my case.

User-friendly, pretty good speed Date: Mar 31 2020
Summary: Been using Surfshark VPN for more than a year now, I had some ups and downs, but overall the ups outweigh the downs. I wanted something easy to use and understand, cheap, and have at least 5 devices you could log in (as I was planning on sharing that account with my roommate). I thought that Surfshark was worth looking into, and in the end, I got their subscription. Everything worked fine, but there were some issues with speed in the beginning, now I have to say it improved a lot, so I can torrent a movie in a couple of minutes.
Positive: Unlimited device logins, user-friendly, helpful customer support
Negative: The speed was a bit slow before, but now it has been improved, hopefully, it stays this way

Decent option for torreting Date: Mar 27 2020
Summary: Since I’m not a fan of paying to streaming platforms, but I wouldn’t want to get a fine for torrenting as well, I decided it was time to get a VPN. My main criteria was one that would allow torrenting, so Surfshark was one of the options, but what got me, in the end, was their low price. Free streaming works, torrenting works, can’t complain about the price, so far so good.
Positive: Allows torrenting and P2P. Strong encryption and secure protocols.
Negative: Noticed a bit of speed drop when I torrent, but I suppose that

Microsoft Defender reports SurfShark has installed the Lodi virus on my computer! 8 month user. Generally slow, inconvenient and unstable. Date: Apr 04 2022
Summary: The last straw was when Microsoft Antivirus reported that SurfShark had installed the lodi virus on my computer. I was on a "chat" with SurfShark tech support - I was passed through several people, Henry, Ernest, etc. I told them I no longer trusted SurfShark because my antivirus was saying it installed Lodi. After more than two hours, they absolutely refused to refund my remaining payment of 40 dollars. I can't imagine how much they pay their tech support staff, but 40 dollars seems like a small amount that they could refund to make things right. So sad!
Positive: I like the "concept" that I am securely connected to a VPN when I am away from the home, or at a coffee shop.
Negative: SurfShark has been generally slow and unstable.

Many sites like Amazon, just fails to load. So I have to disconnect SurfShark, then go to Amazon. I'm constantly disconnecting and reconnecting. Really frustrating.
Freezing where page refuses to load. I disconnect and the page loads.
