Storyboarder was created because Storyboarder wasn't the right tool for us. Every day we improve it. It is free and open-source. You can use it and even make improvements. Can storyboarding and pitching be used to guide the story development process, as animation has? We believe so. We are eager to hear your feedback in order to make Storyboarder the best storytelling tool. Pencil for roughing, pencil for fine lines, pencil for most work, brush for tone, note pen to make notes and an eraser. There is no friction. Add a board. Draw. Add another. Draw. Duplicate. Copy. Paste. Rearrange. There's nothing to stop you. You can add metadata to a board by using the right panel. You can also add timing information and shot type. Storyboarder allows you to draw your roughs and layout. You can also click the edit in Photoshop button to have more control.
