Summary: User and community member since early 2017; Steemit was the ORIGINAL decentralized social media and content creation venue offering crypto based rewards for content creators.

Steemit (the social content site, as opposed to STEEM, the blockchain and native token) has had its ups and downs to be sure, culminating with the controversial departure of the principals in early 2020, which led to the Hive and Blurt forks when Steemit came under threat and ended up more or less centralized for almost two years.

Things are now on an upswing again (Spring 2022), with decentralized governance as community chosen witnesses once again run the blockchain, and the social community is once again growing more active and engaged.

Positive: Growing international community.
Content creators rewarded in native Steem token.
Build stake in the platform you're using.
Blockchain blogging means content is secure.
No worries about demonetization like mainstream social media.

Negative: Bit of a learning curve for the non-technically inclined.
Highly centralized from March 2020 till early 2022; now solved.
Somewhat lacking communication between dev team and greater community.

Summary: Steemit is the Original and best Crypto blogging platform. Nothing comes close to Steemit. It is growing quickly.

Positive: Steemit is the Original Decentralized Crypto Blogging platform,
It is still the best.
The friendliest people are on Steemit.

Negative: None.
Steemit is like a hidden gem.
There is nothing like Steemit.

Summary: I don't have any regrets of joining this platform but I only regret of not joining the platform earlier but since I have see that Steemit is a genuine platform I will love to promote Steemit among my environment in other to make my people join this wonderful platform.

Positive: I like Steemit because it is a blockchain platform where every users learn from other's publication, and they also create their own quality publication and earned Steem, Steem dollars and Tron as a reward of making quality publication. I like Steemit because it comes with different community with different function which help all steemians to stay active in Steemit platform and also their challenge contest.

Negative: I don't like the way Steemit wallet is open for all Steemit users to see what you have although they can't get access to it but it sometimes bring jealousy.

Summary: If the feeders I am getting is and I believe will be something to hold on to, I believe I am going to have a wonderful experience on the site and introduce more people to the platform.

Positive: The signups procedures and the your products and services I will enjoy when I embrace the site fully. I intend to do that fully and have all the attendant benefits that will accrue.

Negative: I just started signed up today owing to the urging of my wife and friend who both signed up and for now no complaint.

Summary: It is a blockchain social network with a very broad spectrum of user profiles, where one or more interests may coincide, which are rewarded and rewarded in their publications, controlled by the users themselves, turning the platform into a social workplace, which was considered futuristic in the past.
The users of this platform, in their training are guided and trained through processes called achievements, leaving an open door to a higher level of knowledge through its Crypto Academy.
As a Blockchain Social Network and given the great diversity of profiles that in turn generate communities of related interests; constantly create synergy among its members with the strategy that the user reaches maximum levels of creativity through contests, which ensures a permanent vitality to this network.

Positive: When I got to know Steemit I could see that it really is a social network, and if you want with enough freedom, since the regulations and protocols between the user-blockchain parts in Steemit are defined through a series of events of training and learning processes called achievements, which lead users to become not only creators of content, and that through tokens generate the Steem cryptocurrency; but also to be an active part of the blockchain Steemit and be part of the security of the same to obtain knowledge about it.
Along with its formation, the user enters into a synergy through the communities that are related to profiles of user groups of very diverse interests, since it is possible to belong to different communities, which leads to strengthen and consolidate Steemit as a social network. There are consolidated users within the communities, who are dedicated to serve as guides and support in the formation of achievements to be reached by the users. For this purpose, they use comments and replies.
Within the communities there are also the developers, who with their App applications of service functions for this blockchain, are the creators of the backend of the platform, which give life and security to the entire ecosystem of Steemit.
A star community of Steemit, is its Crypto Academy, which in my opinion is the highest level in the training of a steemit user. In my particular case I have already passed the achievement 5 in its part 2; and at this point I have gone much further, as it allows me to establish certain particularities of this network, such as that anyone can participate in Steemit, operations in transactions, can be visualized although transparent to the user. In my previous achievement 5-2 in one of my exercises I could see a form in whose field name appeared "mined by". This is a proof that led me to the conclusion that the Steemit Social Network user is also part of the network itself, which guarantees the decentralization of this Steemit Social Network Blockchain, which makes it defined as a distributed network, i.e. it does not require a central server, which makes it more secure at the same time.

Negative: As a user, some HTML, CCS and HTML5 code sentences for the layout of the Blog publication are still not clear to me. And that is because the interface is oriented to the Markdown coding language to which I was not used to, since it is oriented to facilitate the layout to novice users for their first contact with programming, for greater ease in the appearance of their publications; so I had to learn in the achievement four.

Summary: Hmmm, 🤔 nothing much to say, am wakama by name a Steemit user.

Positive: Got my first Tron on Steemit thanks 👍 to Steemit, get to meet new people from different region.

Negative: The platform is pretty hard to use, and please if there's an app it would be much better thanks.

Summary: Overall it is a great experience, I have been able to learn a lot and i love the time I spend here on this platform.

Positive: Steemit has been home to me for the past 3 years, I have had a lot of experiences here on Steemit and I think my time here has really shaped me.

I have been able to make a lot of friends, i have been able to learn a lot on the topic of cryptocurrencies and blockchain technology while earning steem as a reward.

This is definitely great.

Negative: I think the idea that there is no app, in a world where people are almost addicted to an easy user interface provided by an app, having an app is very necessary and vital. So I would want to see an app.

Summary: After all being said, I can proudly say that Steemit is a platform that I didn't regret signing up on.
Also, when I looked at my writing growth back in 2021 and now, I can say that I am not where I use to be.
Steemit has harnessed my writing skills and has made me realize that my writing career is a profession to be proud of.

Positive: I was already a writer before I joined the steer it platform. But what steemit did differently was that it pushed me to write more.
It gave me a purpose for writing, moreover it was a paying platform.
I also appreciate the mouth watering contests that gets initiated on the platform.

Negative: I didn't like that Steemit did not not have an app.
Thirdly, I was thinking maybe the navigation of the mark style could be easier.

Summary: Last of all, as a new user, the Steemit platform is a great opportunity for me, where I can make the best use of my time. It has opened a new path of earning for me, on the other hand, it has opened a new horizon of blogging for millions of people like me.

Positive: Steemit is a platform where we can express our creativity. As well as that which also gives us some earning opportunities. It is especially convenient for students to work on this platform. At the same time it makes people around the world have a great relationship with each other.

Negative: So far I have not seen any bad side of the Steemit platform. If any, I think it's not important.

Summary: In summary, Steemit is a great platform with a clear goal of supporting those with good intention for the project. They support hardworking and dedication too. When ones level of commitment is high, it becomes very difficult to get ignored.

Positive: Steemit is a social networking block chain were one can write quality content and get rewarded for it in steem token. It's one of the best blogging blockchains in the world. One of the advantage this platform has over its competitors is presence of Steemit curators that readily upvote posts of quality without necessarily waiting for the whales. It has its own internal mechanism of reward, in the his way, it's easier to support people.

Negative: Just like most platform, there are also hinges that needs to be work on. Just as one get upvoted, you can as well be down voted by anybody especially when you tend to talk too much. However, if you follow the laid down rules, you will very much enjoy the system just like I do.

Summary: All of the earning sites or platforms, this Steemit platform is the best for me. that's why i said overall Steemit is awesome.

Positive: Through this platform i can learn something new and express my creativity in front of everyone and also i can also earn money by using my free time.

Negative: Most ordinary users do not get votes in their curation system. They should pay attention to this.

Summary: After all, I'm having a lot of fun using Steemit. I can share my thoughts in the form of a blog with my other steemitian friends. By this I have some income. I have been working in Amar Bangla blog community on Steemit for almost 1 year. Our Founder rme Dada is leading us forward with adequate guidelines. He is also going with the support. I want everyone to embrace this steem platform and build a career out of it.

Positive: Steemit is a reward-based blogging platform. The other social media platforms we have spent time on have not received any financial benefits. But from Steemit we get a financial support. Moreover, its data security is much higher as it runs on steem blockchain technology. So I prefer to use the Steem platform.

Negative: I have seldom seen Steem's disadvantage. However, sometimes I have faced problems like server error for some time. Moreover, I do not see any evil side of it.

Summary: All in all, I've been active here for the last three years, because it's the best platform I've ever seen. I am working here with a lot of satisfaction, gaining knowledge and being able to express my creativity. I am able to develop mutual relations with others. I am happy working here.

Positive: I can say in the light of the experience of the last three years that it is the best platform to express one's opinion and writing independently. There are opportunities to express opinions in your own language or in any other language, to learn cryptocurrency, information about investing, some great opportunities to improve the quality of your writing, which is definitely not available anywhere else.

Negative: No, so far I have not encountered any such difficulty, because everyone here enjoys full freedom to work independently. Proving your own skills may not be a problem in the new situation, because if you do not show your skills properly, support will not be available. However, there is no obstacle in developing one's skills.

Summary: Overall blurt is my favourite as it has no downvotes and easy to build communities but Steemit is a close runner up and good to use as well. All are better than hive which, is a toxic place with a few rich whales taking away peoples rewards for fun when they start to do well.

Positive: The original platform all are forked off Steemit.
Still more free than hive as at least there isn’t tons of downvoting, the only people who really got downvoted on Steemit are the ones that downvote others over on Hive. It’s rare to see downvoting now they left over on Steemit.

Negative: It’s become kind of difficult to get rewards and build communities.
A lot of users are Chinese which isn't great if you only speak English but if you put effort in can still find community there, it is building back a bit since people are leaving hive and realising the abuse there is rampant.
Design needs work as it does on all decentralised platforms.

Summary: Steemit in my opinion is a social media attention economy where, everyone will be rewarded for their informative, productive and educational work.

Positive: I like Steemit, because Steemit really appreciates the content we post, in Steemit we connect with each other according to our interests, support each other and respect each other. Exclusive content and free of plagiarism. Every day, I've literally saved up and saved it all for a long term investment.

Negative: I guess, what I don't like is. there are still many uninformative bitbots hanging around, which destroy the system.
