Not as good as Snipping Tool Date: Jul 11 2023
Summary: Use an alternative product if you cannot live with Snipping Tool - otherwise use Snipping Tool instead and don't bother with this.
Newer is not always better, and this is true in this case.Positive: Comes with less security vulnerabilities as Snipping Tool. Other than that there is absolutely nothing to recommend this except that it comes bundled with Windows.
Negative: Awful design and less intuitive than the Snipping Tool it replaces.

Freezes computer, have to do a hard reset. Date: Mar 06 2023
Summary: Great except it's not useable. Microsoft has known about this issues since mid-2021. Why has it not been fixed in 2023?
Positive: Very easy to use with intuitive controls. Simple, but very useful. Nothing that you don't need in a screenshot and editing tool.
Negative: Freezes my computer and causes me to hard reset, losing any work that was unsaved.

Buggy? Edited: Feb 05 2022
Summary: Less than optimal. Led me to reach alternatives such as ScreenRec and Greenshot etc. Shame that Microsoft did not create a full tools menu.
Positive: Seems intuitive and easy to use. Has a ruler and protractor (but they do seem buggy). Liked the ability to save and clip and paste easily the annotated images.
Negative: Could not, despite internet research, remove the overlaid ruler (or protractor) from the screenshot file, nor could I erase just one drawn object created by using those two tools. I uninstalled and reinstalled. No other suggestions found. Feb 2022.
