Utilizing symmetric encryption methods, specifically AES with a 256-bit cipher, SMF effectively encrypts and decrypts files. In its application form, Secure My Files can be deployed on your server by using the readily available source code. Since everything is static, it can function on any web server. As a library, SMF is user-friendly; you simply need to add the JavaScript script to your webpage to start encrypting or decrypting files using a password. The source code is accessible on GitHub, allowing users to review and identify potential issues, thus enhancing overall security.
