    Absolutely the best ever backup software I have found!

    Summary: Seriously, I researched at least a half dozen software options (paid and unpaid), and this is the ONLY one that could offer what I needed without stressing me out. However, keep in mind that many options for an advanced user ARE there--I just don't use them. They also have EXCELLENT customer support!

    Positive: Hello, I am a 75 year old grandma that was desperately seeking backup software to meet my needs while not adding mega stress to my already stress-maxed-out life (lost my husband after a 4 year battle with aggressive dementia). I had specific needs, mainly these: wanted data copied in its own format, wanted to copy to its last main folder and not create the whole path to get there (i.e., pictures, not user/username/pictures), wanted one-way exact copy of data folders, wanted to exclude system files to avoid potential system issues, did not want encryption, wanted multiple backup profiles with some scheduled and some profiles manual, wanted to be able to trust the backup, wanted a log I could view to make sure the backup was good, wanted all source files within selected folders copied including empty folders, wanted files that no longer existed on the source folder in the same place deleted (only maintaining the files in the source folders), wanted a one-time reasonable price and NO subscription... I think I have everything covered. The GOOD NEWS is that SecondCopy does and provides EXACTLY what I needed so I purchased a license, and I will HIGHLY RECOMMEND it to all family and friends. Thank you, Second Copy! Please note that just because this software was made in heaven for seriously-challenged seniors does NOT mean it does not have advanced features for advanced users. But I will say that this is the ONLY software I could tolerate learning how to configure and use! So, again, thank you to the developers of this software!

    Negative: Some may be bothered by issues with copying locked or system files (I am told there is a fix), but I was not since my backups are of data.

    Also, some may be disappointed that it does not provide cloud storage. I was not because I NEVER back up to the cloud.
