Summary: It can be a very toxic platform if you don’t fall in line with the narrative of the community as a whole vs being safe in the groups you join. It becomes a place for people angry at the world can come and attack you.

Positive: You can connect with Reddit groups and members from all over the world with the same likes. It is generally a younger crowd who is often not respectful to all and a single attack will lead to a pile on for the fun of it.

Negative: It’s is privately moderated so people with power issues and political agendas will control the direction of attacks and censorship. You can report users but if you report bots or a troll you get suspended for over reporting. Incentives the toxic anonymous hate trolling. They promote hate speech on others while censoring the reporting of of the individuals or topics they feel allowed. You are allowed to cus at someone but not refer to genders. Allowed to shame someone for lack of English accuracy but not have different political views.

Summary: Reddit is a great social media platform focusing less on the personal life of users and more on discussions. I have been using reddit for almost a decade now and while they have improved the website a lot, the mobile apps still need a lot of work.

Positive: Social media platform based around communities.
Free to use.
Lots of communities (called sub-reddits) for each niche.
Great place to get unfiltered news.
Upvote system to help promote quality content.
Award system to recognize quality content.

Negative: Android app has lot of issues with every other update - crashes, video not buffering, posts on loading.
Moderator personal bias has a lot of influence over content.

Summary: Overall, Reddit is a great platform with millions of users, allowing them to connect with each other based on similar interests.

Negative: - The searching UI can be improved by showing more similar suggestions during the searches.
- The mobile version of the application feels unstable occasionally.

Positive: -If you can think of it, there is a subreddit for it. There is a place with more information on every topic on Reddit.
-Karma system rewards users who post good/useful comments and punishes those that have bad intentions.

Negative: -Reddit does its best to avoid spam account and bots, but there are still many out there.
-It would be great to have more freedom regarding posting gifs, emoticons etc.

Summary: Reddit is where I spend a lot of my internet time when I am not working or playing games. Keeps me up to date on current world issues and funny topics.

Positive: Reddit is the best place for funny memes, great videos, current world drama updates and anything else. Literally the best place to be if you want to keep up with the times.

Negative: It's a chat board? No cons except your opinion is always wrong!

Summary: Reddit is by far the best social media created to date. The fact I can post anonymously with no judgement is amazing.

Positive: The people of Reddit make the social media world. This app connects every while maintaining anonymity. I love that I can post on a page that everyone love and appreciates.

Negative: I don't like how much premium is but other than that the software is perfect.

Summary: I love scrolling through reddit in my free time, the overload of information in the community is literally out-of-this-world. I feel like reading reddit alone improves your IQ and worldly knowledge by 10%. It's advisable to think before you take action from redditors advices though, it's the internet after all.

Positive: Reddit is a great place to find people of similar interests, people to hire, get a job, or just a solution to any random problem you might have. I basically do a Reddit search whenever I have a problem instead of googling first - that is how much this platform has benefitted me.

I love the sense of anonymity Reddit provides. People are genuine and have the best solid advice. It has a community for pretty much any interest you might have, or else, you can build your own one. It has some really fun sub-reddits and threads, can make you laugh, has got people from all over the world sharing their inspirational and sometimes terrifying stories, and is just the best place to go for when you need alter opinions. The app is clean and simple, but is very intuitive and easy to use.

Negative: The desktop site isn't as responsive as you'd like to be. The bots can sometimes be annoying with the mod mails and comments. The karma points are basically pointless after a while because anyone can get them. Sometimes, people can be very toxic with their advices as they might not suit our situations exactly.
