QCS9000 Description

The NCMR General search form is used for finding NCMR's that meet user-entered criteria. The same search form is used for all icons regarding NCMR's. We will now take a look at the search screen. Click on the General NCMR search icon in the QCS9000 navigator to view this search screen. Supplier NCMR: These are most likely to be caused by defects in material purchased from an outside vendor. In-Process NCMR - This is caused by defects discovered during the manufacturing process, or when the product is moved between work centers (found through quality control type inspections). Customer Return NCMR is when a customer returns a ship product due to defects or other nonconformities. Other terminologies include RMA's (for returned materials authorizations) and CRM (customer returns material).
