Oracle GRC Description
Oracle Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC), serves as a platform to support two components: Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance Manager, (EGRCM), and Enterprise Governance, Risk and Compliance Controls, (EGRCC).
EGRCM is a document that documents a company's strategy to address risk and comply with regulatory requirements. It allows users to identify risks to the company's operations, controls to mitigate them, and other objects such as business processes that are subject to risks and controls.
EGRCC consists of two components, Application Access Controls Gov (AACG), and Enterprise Transaction Controls Gov (ETCG). These allow users to create models, controls, and run them within business applications in order to detect and resolve violations of segregation and transaction risk.
These components are used as modules in the GRC platform. EGRCC is a Continuous Controls Monitoring module. EGRCM is a default Financial Governance module.
