    UFT One

    Date: Aug 28 2023

Summary: Overall I think UFT one is one of the best tools out there. When looking at tools. Remember QA\Test are the last line of defense before the product goes out the door. When I hear this software is free or cheaper. It makes me wonder what are they think! The last place you want to be cheap is in testing of your product. You have to ask yourself are you doing what is needed to get the best product out the door. When you look for a automation tool you should look for the best tool out there not the cheapest. You want a tool that can do as much as possible in 1 tool. You want a tool that Tester can learn easily and can maintain easily. I think that is this tool UFT one. I have gotten Tester with no programming background and are over 40 years old automation script with 2 days. Note just like anything to master something takes time.

Positive: 1) AI based Testing (very easy to use)
    2) Mobile testing (For note this sites says it doe not support which it does)
    3) Automation Object Model
    4) It does support the following : .NET 5 and 6 AG Grid, AutoPass, Bamboo , Delphi, Java (Oracle Java SE 19, OpenJDK 19, Zulu OpenJDK, Microsoft Office, Microsoft 365, SAP, Stingray, JAVA
    5) I do like how you have different ways to attack automation, you can use code using VB script, you can record & Play, you can use spy object, you can use AI script, you can use images... etc.

Negative: It is a resource hog.

They should improve performance. There will be performance degradation on the test environment due to long continuous executions of automation scripts which leads to inconsistency of results, a better way to resolve this problem should be addressed at some point.
