Reliable, Affordable, Excellent Controls Date: Sep 07 2023
Summary: Excellent. I would highly recommend both OVHcloud US and SoYouStart Canada without hesitation, and I continue to use them to this day in production.
Positive: I've been using OVHcloud in the US and SoYouStart (also OVH) in Canada for many years. Their network is reliable, their communication is excellent, their portal does what it needs to do, you can often get OOB access to the terminal to your dedicated server, and I usually get what I need from their customer service phone or email support.
Negative: Their policy and responsiveness to shutting down bad actors which cause their IPs to get regularly blacklisted sucks. IPv6 has solved this mostly, but for IPv4 it still is not great.
