Increase engagement in school with Minecraft Education lessons Date: Apr 10 2024
Summary: Kids feel empowered to learn while exploring in a 'game' setting. Structured lessons can be educator-led, supported by resources that round out the experience with out-of-game discussion.
Positive: Meet kids where they are with a vehicle for learning through play. Kids can learn to code, explore science, including chemistry and collaborate among many other features. They can't believe they get to play Minecraft at school, meanwhile, they happened to learn at the same time while meeting curriculum standards!
Negative: Can be intimidating to non-gamer educators. Requires a education license. If you don't have OneDrive as part of your tenant, you won't get the automatic backups to the cloud.
