Engages with staff Date: Aug 29 2021
Summary: We have been using the Mimecast Security Awareness Training for a while and we've noticed a big increase in our staff's security posture.
The videos are fun and are only about 2-3 minutes. There is a question plus some feedback and the whole process is less than 5 minutes.
We have it scheduled for 6 videos a year and if people don't complete each module then their access is restricted (which you have to do yourself). You can easily identify those people from the 'watchlist' - and they get targeted emails.
When new employees start, they are automatically sent the previously released videos so they get up to speed pretty quickly and you don't miss out on anybody.
Having Mimecast integrate with Active Directory for SSO is a winner as we found this helped people more easily conduct their training.
The dashboard is excellent and gives you some really good analytics. You can drill down on users - both good and bad, along with responses and get a grading on each person and the company as a whole.
The only gripe I have is that I'd like the module queues to be a little more customisable, but that is fairly minor. I'd also like some posters included so you can pin them up around the offices.
Once you set it up, depending on how you want to manage the system, it really is set and forget.Positive: The training videos are quick and fun.
Easy to setup with lots of options to configure things like emails, users, etc.
Great statistics.
Phishing training is highly customisable.Negative: A bit more flexibility with the training video queue would be handy.

Shoot me now Date: Dec 28 2022
Summary: If I could use a poo emoji it would be too generous. Overall - please see the comments above - if you don't get the impression, you'll probably enjoy this course.
Positive: So basic a child could understand it.
Negative: If you have the slightest bit of common sense and are computer literate this course is not for you.

Not even a child would find the training videos to be humorous. They are painful to watch, I'd rather push toothpicks under my fingernails and then set them alight than watch this garbage.
