This dissatisfaction ultimately led me to develop my own file manager. Additionally, numerous popular and trustworthy file managers are closed-source, and while I occasionally use them to access and modify files requiring root permissions, I find myself feeling uneasy about granting any closed-source application such extensive access to my device.
