ROBUST PROGRAM BUT FAILS REGULARLY Date: Oct 18 2023
Summary: All in all when the system is working I find it very pleasant to work with, my employees are able to learn it, at least on a basic level quickly. Many many features that make running a business much easier and productive. Support is good when your able to reach them. Would I recommend ManageMore? Perhaps if they are able to resolve the plethora of issues, but as it stands now, unfortunately I would suggest you spend your money elsewhere.
Positive: The program itself is very nice and has a multitude of features. The layout is fairly intuitive and only takes a short while to become accustom to. For running a business, this program pretty much has it all, probably even more than you'll need which is great to have in abeyance, as hopefully your business grows over time, it can grow with you.
Negative: Unfortunately the system is laden with bugs. I literally can not count the times I've had to resort to using carbon paper to ring up customers due to the program failing. Customer support can usually resolve the issue quickly, however they don't open until 10am, two hours after we open, which puts us in a bind if we open the store and Managemore is non-operative. There is a after hours option but it is $500 to access (yes, you read that correctly). Also everything business related is packaged into the program, so when the system is down you can not access anything at all, even to pull up simple quires (pricing, phone numbers, printing labels etc.).

Summary: We with them more than 10+ years. From they are very small size company until now. They are increase monthly fee, but not increase worker in technical department and provide 24/7 service. It make us VERY VERY disappointed and 😡 Their technical support guys are friendly and helpful. We have no problem to them. Only have problem for their business hours. If you increase 50% monthly fee, you need hire more technical workers or increase to 24/7 each day. 😡
Positive: They update every six months. By increasing so many features, but also create so many errors, this time need debug. I am not programmer, how can I know to do it. If they increase technical support to 24/7. It may be help them get more Westside business.
Negative: We hate to update their software due to so many errors occurred each time. They are in Eastside and not working on weekend. Our retail shop in Westside and very busy on weekend. So we tried not update when they are not working. Today Wednesday, this problem came again after we update their software. After I created an invoice and save it, It freeze our computer and keep asking retry, debug, or cancel. We tried contact the technical support 45 mins before they closed and mention that is 5 out of 5 emergency help. They hire a outshore custom services by taking our information and said that they will call us back as soon as possible. Unfortunately, we waited for a whole day, nobody contact us. Tomorrow is Thursday, we close on Thursday and Friday. And they close on weekend. It means this problem will going to solve on next Monday. Also, they increase a monthly fee to 50% without any notice. By giving this monthly fee without 24/7 technical support, if you have business, you REALLY need to deeply make a RIGHT decision. 🤔
