    Transfer is horrible

    Summary: I have been trying to transfer this to my new laptop and it will not transfer. i might loose all my log book info which means 15 years of flight logs down the drain. this will guarantee I can never apply to another job for the rest of my career.

    Positive: Good program easy to use. Its a spread sheet style which makes inputting data easy if you know spread sheets.

    Negative: Transferring to a new computer is a night mare. The support suggestion DO NOT WORK.

    Summary: That is how the Logbook Pro founder treats his customers. Great program, terrible support.

    Positive: Logbook Pro worked great for me for YEARS. I am a Capt for a major airline and used Logbook Pro since they started.

    Negative: After a decade or so I found I was unable to open my logbook on a new computer. I decided to purchase the new version of Logbook Pro, $80. It downloaded, but I still couldn't open my original logbook except for the preview look (i.e. just the first few pages). I emailed back and forth with the company, first they didn't believe I actually paid for the software. When I emailed them the receipt they said it was a problem with my credit card, they never receive payment. My credit card company (Citi bank) assured me that they paid them. Long story short, I disputed and then cancelled my credit card charge. So all my Logbook records saved on Logbook Pro are lost. I still have the data file but am unable to open the files.
