Additionally, it allows providers to create orders that trigger email alerts to predetermined addresses for laboratory staff, who can then approve these requests. Each order generates a ticket that can be removed, and patient information, as well as profiles for the ordered tests, can be modified before finalizing the data into the system, ensuring flexibility and accuracy in the management of patient orders. This combination of features not only streamlines the ordering process but also enhances communication between providers and laboratory staff.
