LTX Studio Review – Promising, But Not Yet Production-Ready Edited: Jun 25 2025
Summary: I’d be open to sharing my project with the LTX team before I release it, in the hope that my experience can help improve future iterations. With better rendering consistency, fewer wasted outputs, and more flexible credit options, I could absolutely see myself becoming a long-term user. I work in film, with projects already on major networks, and I’m actively integrating AI into new productions. I want LTX to succeed—but right now, it still needs refinement to earn its place as a reliable tool in professional workflows.
Positive: As a creative working on a music video using LTX Studio, I was excited by the potential of crafting my own characters and shaping an immersive, AI-driven narrative. The platform started off strong—initial character creation and scenes showed a lot of promise. However, as I progressed and expanded the story, I ran into consistent and frustrating issues with continuity.
I plan to release a full video review of this process after I’ve been able to finish the project (once credits refresh). In it, I’ll go into detail about what worked, what didn’t, and whether LTX is worth the investment at its current stage. I genuinely appreciate the technology and some of what I’ve managed to create. There’s definite potential here.Negative: Despite locking in my characters and settings early on, LTX repeatedly changed their appearance—altering outfits, art styles, and sometimes even the characters themselves without prompt. This created a cascade of issues for continuity and forced me to repeatedly regenerate scenes to chase the original vision. Unfortunately, this process consumed a significant amount of my monthly credits, often with unsatisfactory results.

What’s more frustrating is that once those credits ran out, I couldn’t find an option to simply purchase more. The only available path was upgrading to a more expensive subscription tier, which, based on my experience, would still leave me dealing with the same core limitations.LTX Company Response -

After 3 shorts Date: Jun 17 2025
Summary: It's fun and easy to use. It's still improving fast. This can be time consuming, especially if you are aiming for a specific end result.
Positive: Easy to use. Consistency is getting better. A lot of tools are available to help you get what you really want in term of photography (angles, close up, camera movements, etc.).
Negative: I always have trouble with action scenes (dancing, fighting, etc.). It is sometimes hard to get exactly what you want and it's easier to adapt the script to match the AI propositions along the way.

A tool with an unlimited future Date: Jun 17 2025
Summary: My experience has been satisfactory, with a vision that we are on a journey toward what will revolutionize the audiovisual medium. LTX will go down in history as a tool that paved the way. Video creation through storyboards will be the future of cinema.
Positive: The way to guide the creator through their ideas. The configurations are simple and constantly improving. I've followed their progress since the first few months of launch. I've created fun pieces with my son, and with a little dedication, you can achieve results that were unimaginable just a few years ago.
Negative: It still has the logical difficulties of a creation platform and all the complexity that entails. We creatives are very demanding, and the tool evolves, but more is always needed.

VO, looking forward to Veo 3 use.
Couldn't get Veo 3 to fire up? Maybe because my account is connected to Veo 3 on Google and those credits for month are done?LTX Company Response -

LTX Studio Review (Standard) Date: Jun 17 2025
Summary: Overall, I’m really pleased with the program—it’s a great tool for concepting and storyboarding, especially when working from existing scripts. It brings fresh energy and visual flair to ideas that need that extra push.
That said, I do wish the pricing reflected the current limitations a bit more. The short computing window and occasional misses on prompts are noticeable, but understandable given the tech is still learning.
Still, the quality is strong, the potential is clearPositive: I've been using this program primarily for concepting and building out storyboards, and it's been a fantastic tool for that purpose. I’ve been working from existing scripts, and this platform adds a lot of juice and color to help bring those ideas to life visually. It’s really helped me spark new directions and build out creative momentum.
For personal use, I’m very happy with the product. The quality of the visuals is impressive, and I appreciate the direction it’s headedNegative: That said, there are still a few areas for improvement. Generating accurate timing and movement prompts can be a bit of a challenge right now—but I understand that the system is still learning and evolving.

If I were to use this in a professional space, I’d likely avoid using people or faces at this point, as that’s where things can still feel a little off. Still, the overall output is strong, and I’m excited to keep exploring what it can do.LTX Company Response -

Fun light tricks at the speed of sound! Date: Jun 17 2025
Summary: LTX Studio is a game-changer for anyone interested in AI-powered video creation. What truly sets it apart is how quickly you can see results and iterate—just type your prompt, get an instant preview, and keep tweaking until it’s exactly what you want. The ability to reprompt and regenerate specific scenes or details without redoing the whole project saves so much time and makes the creative process feel effortless.
Positive: I love how easy it is to experiment and refine ideas. The fast preview system lets you see changes pretty much right away, so you’re never stuck waiting or guessing how something will look. This rapid feedback loop encourages creativity and makes it possible to bring your vision to life with amazing control and efficiency.
Negative: There’s a bit of a learning curve, but the payoff is huge once you get the hang of it.

Best AI video generator that I've used. Date: Jun 17 2025
Summary: LTX Studio has exceeded my expectations. It’s the best AI video generator I’ve tried so far. The ease of use, creative control, and professional output make it a powerful tool for content creators at any level. Better than all the other systems I've used, definitely next level!
Positive: Far better than other systems I've used. It’s fast, intuitive, has great templates, and is easy to learn even for beginners.
Negative: Not always accurate and can be a bit confusing to navigate at first especially when the system doesn't accurately develop your prompt. Also some advanced features can be a bit confusing for beginners.

I love this product Date: Jun 17 2025
Summary: Overall good product but definitely has some drawbacks which is hard not to notice them when it comes to creating an actual story the characters need to stay consistent and it doesn't do that
Positive: It is very good product, I like the assist it gives when generating stories. I saw it added Veo 3 but I won't use it until the hype calms down because it is expensive as well now but glad to see it has made its way to the platform
Negative: The lipsyncing is not good as it changes the entire image meaning the facial features when talking and to generate a story is very expensive which is making me have to make a decision on whether or not I should keep it, also there is no character consistent in the story even when you create a character that is the main character of the story

An excellent platform for educational animation — just needs more flexibility Date: Jun 17 2025
Summary: We’re producing a 13-episode animated series for children, to be used at the Archaeological Museum of Lanciano in Italy — completely free and educational. LTX Studio has made it possible for a non-profit like ours to create professional, cartoon-style content with very limited resources.
The visual quality is excellent, and the Cartoonizer delivers exactly what we need for a friendly, educational tone. Creating and maintaining character consistency over time has been smooth, and the integration of voice generation and animation tools has saved us countless hours.
However, managing a full series under the current plan structure is very difficult. The compute seconds included are simply not enough for structured, long-term projects. Being forced to upgrade to a higher plan just to get more seconds is inefficient, especially when the need is temporary or specific.
A solution would be to allow users to buy additional compute time independently of their subscription tier — something that would support educators and small studios trying to produce meaningful work.
Despite this, LTX Studio remains a powerful and inspiring tool, and we’re grateful it exists. If future updates focus on long-form storytelling and production flexibility, it could become a top-tier platform for educational and cultural animation projects.Positive: The Cartoonizer generates clean, engaging visuals perfect for educational use
Character Consistency ensures stable appearances across episodes
Seamless integration of voice, animation, and storyboarding
Intuitive interface — great for small teams or creators without animation skills
Ideal for non-profits, schools, and cultural institutions with limited budgets
Inspires creativity and supports storytelling with high-quality resultsNegative: Compute seconds are very limited in the Standard plan

LTX Studio review Date: Nov 16 2024
Summary: Great experience for what I need it for. I use them for youtube music videos mostly. I have plans on using it for short stories as well.
Positive: Works really well. There is a "free" version that does well for the "computing minutes" given. Scripts are easily processed.
Negative: Free version has very limited "minutes". I get that but it stinks.

Not Bad Date: Jun 17 2025

Positive: Convenient to use. Follows the script fairly accurately. Does a pretty good job creating a storyboard.
Negative: Graphics can be poor quality. Animations is really poor quality at times as well

niche product Date: Jun 17 2025
Summary: Overall there are some aspects that I really appreciate and find to be helpful. Cost/value has not yet proven to be more than below average. Some things it just can not perform and other things absorb 'computing seconds' like a dry sponge. Yesterday I spent 12 thousand computing seconds for an outcome that resulted in less than one minute of useable footage. And that is being generous. Of the usable footage, half was sub-par. There is truly a vague computation charge that results in most of my computing seconds being wasted. Computing seconds should be estimated prior to approving continuation of project.
Positive: I appreciate the variety of options in creating my projects. The image generation and short motion clips have proven to be quite good in parts. There is an ease of use that is comparable to other services. Layout is user friendly.
Negative: The AI generation at times completely misses the mark. In such cases it would be nice to be able to reject the abomination and have credits restored. Simple things that render the project unusable make it frustrating. I cant use a clip if 80% of it is great and then 20% is absurd. If I have to take a 9 second clip and edit it down to 3 seconds of usable material, I would hardly call that superb.
