Kyvos are a fantastic company to work with Date: Sep 08 2023
Summary: The Kyvos product is very well received by our users. The Kyvos team really listen to our feedback and provide solutions to what we need going forward. This is then presented to us at future upgrade demos. The Kyvos team have integrated with our in house team seamlessly and they really do go the extra mile.
Positive: I have found Kyvos very intuitive as a product, however, my main experience is working with the Kyvos team whom have been brilliant throughout. We have weekly governance calls to ensure everything is covered off from a business perspective but also that any infrastructure/performance concerns can be addressed. The team are super responsive and excellent in their knowledge of not only their product but in understanding what our business needs. They work with us from the requirements gathering phase through to development, testing, performance impact analysis, UAT, implementation, Post Implementation Testing and monitoring to ensure we have an application not only up and running but working to the optimal standards at all times. As part of the ongoing monitoring, the Kyvos team often look at ways to optimise existing cubes with a desire and focus on continuous improvement. If only all vendors were as knowledgeable, helpful and reliable.
Negative: So far I personally have had nothing but a positive experience.

Kyvos Edited: Sep 06 2023

The Kyvos Semantic model is responsive, fast and is helping us modernize our application.
The Kyvos Visualization tooling is light weight, easy to use and providing us with a modern way to surface Dashboard and Report content for our consumers.
Kyvos works very well on Azure, leveraging Databricks and integrating with our wider environment, meeting complex security and compliance needs.
Kyvos support team have been beyond responsive in providing us help with learning, configuration and any difficulties encountered.Negative: Kyvos is a VM based deployment, and we would love for it to embrace a Kubernetes approach, providing a little more flexibility around scaling.

Much better dashboard performance as usage and data grew Date: Apr 20 2026
Summary: Our main challenge was dashboard responsiveness. Users often avoided drilling into data because it took too long and we ended up creating multiple summary reports as a workaround. With Kyvos, teams can explore data more freely without running into performance issues.
Positive: We started using Kyvos semantic layer mainly because our dashboards were getting slower as data volume increased. Some of our reports involve detailed drilldowns and performance would drop when users tried to explore beyond summary levels. After moving to Kyvos, those same dashboards feel noticeably faster and more interactive.
Another thing I have seen is that performance stays stable even during peak usage. Earlier, mornings were especially slow when multiple teams accessed reports together. That’s no longer an issue and users can interact with dashboards without waiting between clicks. We also didn’t have to change our BI layer, which made adoption easier for the business.Negative: No real complaints at this point. It’s been working as expected for our use case.

Supercharged Snowflake analytics Date: Mar 24 2026
Summary: Slow dashboard responses were a common complaint before Kyvos, specifically at peak times. This was limiting our ability to make time-critical decisions using BI. Now, it is easy to process large volumes of data and we're able to provide our stakeholders with critical insights faster than ever.
Positive: The biggest impact for us has been speed. Our data is on Snowflake, and in the past, we saw complex queries slowing things down particularly when lots of users queried the data. After implementing Kyvos, the difference was immediate. Even heavy, multi-dimensional queries return results in seconds.
Negative: So far, we haven’t faced any critical issues.

Accelerates analytics on Looker Date: Mar 24 2026
Summary: Since we work with extremely large datasets, we were facing a lot of performance issues. After using Kyvos, we get insights much faster. The query response time has really gone down, and we can scale more easily.
Positive: Kyvos helps us perform complex analytics and get faster query responses on Looker. We’ve been able to connect Looker directly to all our data sources and work with dashboards that get refreshed instantly.
Negative: More pros than cons really! Whatever teething issues we had were addressed by their support team quickly.

Helps minimize AI hallucinations Date: Feb 20 2026
Summary: As our organizational data runs into petabytes, we were finding it hard to train our AI agents on the complete data. This was creating blind spots and impacting contextual understanding and accuracy. Kyvos has helped us address this problem and we have been able to ship production-grade AI applications much faster.
Positive: We can plug our LLMs and AI agents seamlessly into Kyvos semantic layer (instead of connecting them to multiple raw data sources). It gives AI access to all our enterprise data with standardized business logic and definitions. This helps reduce hallucinations and improve accuracy of responses.
Negative: Slight learning curve for some of the advanced features, but once we got a hang of them things were fine.

Seamless integration, faster reporting Edited: Nov 13 2025
Summary: Kyvos has completely transformed our reporting capabilities. It used to be slow and constrained by data volume. Now, we can easily get into much larger datasets and generate reports in a fraction of the time.
Positive: The biggest benefit with Kyvos is faster performance. It plugged right into our cloud setup and started working with our BI tools without any hassle.
Negative: There’s always room for improvement in any product, but I think Kyvos is already performing really well
