Summary: Overall I believe this is one of the best softwares that me and my peers use for making memes and stuff so I reckon there is a huge market for them and they should seize the opportunity and make a business model out of this.

Positive: Ease of use and intuitiveness.
Great support for audio.
Super easy to export.
Can be used from a different device since it is online.

Negative: Pricing, making it free and add ads when exporting.

Summary: Good. There's free version. It's really easy and fast to use. I hope Kapwing will always be nice and trusted.

Positive: Easy and fast. For beginner, it is really suitable. There's no requirement in skill, money, or computer's specification to add subtitle freely.

Negative: I think there's no cons. Maybe because I used it in free version. I don't know and have any comments for the pricing version.

Summary: Good, I edited my gif and it finally looks good enough for posting. Worked smoothly and I didn't have a hard time at all.

Positive: Quick and easy to use, really helped me out and could do everything I needed. The quality and colouring is also good.

Negative: Took a few minutes to load but it came out well :)

Summary: I am thrilled to have found Kapwing and hope to upgrade soon! For those users like me who know next to nothing about graphic design and photo/video editing, Kapwing helps get you started by letting you try doing not simply reading how to be doing... make sense?

Positive: Great way to learn as you go. I am totally new to editing and this website is almost dummy proof! Unlike similar sites I have tried, Kapwing honestly lets you do a lot of things free. I can totally see the value in a paid subscription but they don't pull away the "free" carrot if you chose not to. Great site to create PNG files as they have a huge library of copyright free images.

Negative: Workspaces can get mired down but this is a user issue more than a site one.

Summary: The cons are likely just my expectations arguing over computational expense. It's worth using and I may have a need to use it again someday.

Positive: It did as expected. I was able to edit a video and able to apply a rudimentary filter and add a little blur.

Negative: Was not all that intuitive and didn't change much visually until you export it.

Summary: Kapwing is an excellent tool and has saved me time and effort of making a speech / Voiceovers. Kapwing can sure be a great add on for everyone.

Positive: Kapwing is a great tool. It's text to speech tool has been a great tool to ease my everyday works and has saved much time.

Negative: Kapwing is an excellent tool but there is sudden lag and sudden flutter that makes it less more comfortable to use.

Summary: My experience with Kapwing was perfectly satisfactory, right up until it was profoundly terrible. I imagine some users never run into bugs and remain satisfied customers—but there is a non-zero number of major bugs to run into, and zero consideration for dissatisfied customers.

Positive: When it works, Kapwing is great for basic video editing; I completed one simple project with it quickly and easily.

Negative: When it doesn’t work, Kapwing is an endless sequence of false starts, frustrations, and failures. After a parade of error messages and bizarre glitches, I gave up on using Kapwing for my second project (which was very basic and functionally identical to the first project). Customer service was unhelpful and, after an initial faux-friendly fauxpology, blatantly rude. Their stance was quite clearly "we don't care if our product worked for you; we already have your money."

Summary: THIS SOFTWARE IS A SCAM AND A JOKE! -- Not a funny joke, either. I used their BS software for one project and it was working okay, and then upgraded to Pro thinking that I needed it. I later found out that my husband had already purchased a different software for us to use (a better one) and contacted them no less than 12 hours later to ask for a refund. They denied my request for a refund and the customer service was RUDE about it. I even offered to pay a pro-rated rate or a monthly subscription, but again that request was ignored. I started messing around in the software to see about canceling my other software instead, but it's absolute crap. Tons of bugs, glitches, slow loading, the music doesn't sync properly, you can't even search for the tracks you want... IT'S A TOTAL SCAM! BEWARE!

Positive: Literally nothing. Everything about it was awful. I've never had such a terrible experience with an app.

Negative: Everything. It sucks. The customer service is awful, the app is glitchy. They will not issue a refund or pro-rated amount if you decide to cancel.

Summary: Terrible customer service- they refused my request for a refund, which I asked for right after purchasing and realizing I wouldn't bee able to use the software due to ridiculous size limitations.

Positive: None - there are no PROS because I didn't get to use the software due to size limitations which are ridiculous.

Negative: Overly complicated, aside from that, total BS. I realized shortly after purchasing I wouldn't be able to use it and they responded to my refund request with a "tough sh*t" attitude. Awful customer service.

Summary: Although this was a bug on their hand and I haven't used the video features at all, customer support didn't provide a refund. According to them, my expectations for a 20 dollars refund over a product I couldn't get to use are too high.

Positive: Basic feature set for low price. Cute branding, seemed easy to use at first. But I didn't get to use the product.

Negative: My goal was simple, purchasing an account for my teammate for her to use that same morning. This was not possible since the "add licence" option didn't work. After trying all possible ways to provide my teammate with an account, I canceled the subscription and went to a similar product from a competitor.

Summary: Kapwing is a borderline scam. Don't do it. The site is so glitchy that it cannot withstand basic tasks. It also suggests in order to access greater abilities that you need to upgrade. So you do. Then the glitches get worse. As for Pro membership offering tech support in 3-4 days, it's a falsehood. They are more than happy to ignore your messages for assistance and let the months (aka 20 dollars per month membership) roll over without any reply. I put a lot of work into my project and in the 3 months I've had this account (60dollars) I had one reply in the first month that deflected the issues over to me - suggesting that it was my laptop and connection. But I'm on the latest MacBook M1 and 5G. So I'm NOT the problem. I'm trying to salvage what I can as we speak but the files are frozen, so this may just be a write off. So take this from me, don't upgrade and find yourself a better platform. Kapwing ain't it.

Positive: Nothing - this platform does not live up to its promises, and its tech support deflects the issues over as your problem (take responsibility, especially to pro members).

Negative: Glitchy, tech support virtually non-existent, don't pay to upgrade.

Summary: I was enjoying the ease as other can be pretty difficult to navigate until I heard the finalized product. Wasted my time.

Positive: Very easy to use. Very easy to follow the instructions. Some other apps seem way too complicated..

Negative: The audio is horrendous. After spending a good amount of time to make the video you have to scrap it because it songs pretty crappy.
