Journal Finder Description

Journal Finder® serves as a comprehensive A-Z list, link resolver, and electronic resource management (ERM) solution all in one package. It offers library users convenient access to electronic materials through a clean and intuitive interface, tailored specifically by librarians to enhance the experience for library patrons. Initially developed in 2000 by the team at the University of North Carolina - Greensboro, Journal Finder was the first OpenURL Link Resolver to be implemented in the United States. In 2008, WT Cox acquired Journal Finder, ensuring all your journals are accessible from a single entry point. Users can access titles through various methods, including electronic formats, print, interlibrary loans, and document delivery. The content list is updated automatically, and since it is hosted by WT Cox, libraries can avoid server-related issues. The system is fully customizable to align with your library's website, and it provides management reports along with an easy-to-use administration interface for content maintenance. Additionally, it functions as a basic ERM tool for all electronic resources, allowing seamless linking from citations found in commercial databases to the library catalog or full-text articles in other databases. This not only enhances user accessibility but also promotes efficient resource management within the library system.
