    What a fexible beast !

    Summary: Istio seems to be the right choice for mTLS everywhere, it's free, open-source with permissive license, and can achieve what other service mesh and ingres controllers seem not able to offer ( such as mTLS everywhere - including egress).

    Positive: Very flexible ingress controller, egress management, and service mesh.
    Can do anything other services mesh can do.
    Can do mTLS everywhere (service mesh, ingress and even egress).
    Sidecar model ensures that connection from pods on same node is also secured.
    Excellent integration in Kubernetes and compatibility with other components.
    Kiali rocks to visualize flows.
    Open, free and permissive Apache license.

    Negative: Finding the proper configuration for a purpose is not always easy.
