Summary: The caché and ensemble have been integrated in only one tool which is IRIS. This tool created a lot of new possibilities such as working with machine learning and integrate it with python, node and AWS.

Positive: Created a lot of new possibilities such as working with machine learning, integration with python, node and AWS that creates a much faster environment.

Negative: The license is pricier than just buying ensemble. Also it's a new tool that it's not been used a lot and a training is highly required.

Summary: Until now I've had good experience and support since I work in a friendly and helpful company, had a few struggles in the beginning to get all the singularities of the language but now I'm used to it and works great and I can see multiples uses for it.

Positive: Very fast and scalable database, good management for huge data flow with safe paths providing full resources to build a complete application without needing anything else.

Negative: Lack of information on the open web for some particularities and the Studio editor is kind of outdated.

Summary: Intersystems Iris provides all the necessary functionality for creating and maintaining systems. The database has an excellent performance, the creation of APIs for external communication is simple and the programming language is full of features. In addition, it makes it possible to work with legacy code and the support is good.

Positive: For me, the main pros of the tool are reliability, database speed, wide range of features and agile support.

Negative: As it has many configuration options, the administration portal is sometimes confusing.

Summary: Very very very satisfied. There is nothing so powerful and flexible on the market. It is ahead of it's time.

Positive: There is nothing on the market so fast and rapporteur.
Very flexible and adaptable, information can be consumed natively in many ways. Global, queries, API test, odbc, orm's, etc ...

Negative: We still need more libraries to link with other services without having to depend on other languages such as java or .net

Summary: Solved the work with legacy code on a new environment.
If you need stored data the fastest way - It is the right decision.

Positive: I use Caché since the older versions and I liked this one in particular because of the information from open communications without losing the best, its high performance and speed in small and large applications.
Allowing connectivity with other open libraries opens up a world of possibilities and performance gains in the development of our software since we can use several frameworks to facilitate the writing of the code.

Negative: Administration portal. Isn't easy to understand.

Summary: InterSystems IRIS it's really very easy to install, configure and deploy.

Positive: InterSystems IRIS It offers high-performance database maintenance, interoperability, machine learning, and analytics features all built-in from the ground up to date, which simplifies the most complex data-intensive applications.
High performance, as a database it's robust and very fast.

Negative: The COS language is too simple. Ok, it's a double-edged sword, it is easy to learn but to solve some kind of problems demands a lot of code.

Summary: The system is very stable, so I never had problems with this gear. I appreciate Intersystems IRIS and I use this one every day.

Positive: Intersystems IRIS is a perfect solution, principally for the health area. The database is very security and is easy to use.

Negative: This is a paid technology, but isn't expensive. For me this is the only con until moment.

Summary: It has reduced our timeframes drastically and enhanced productivity. Our database is cleaner and better organised than ever before.

Positive: InterSystems IRIS has been our goto software for database management. It is the most secure and guaranteed platform we have come across.

Negative: It is an intense software and it takes time to properly implement and learn to use.

Summary: We have been using IRIS for over a year now. Primarily we use it to manage our databases efficiently, but it is also helpful in creating APIs. It also has a good support towards open technologies which makes it our goto platform.

Positive: Intersystems IRIS has a very good mechanism for database management. It is secure and reliable. Special mentions to exceptional customer support!

Negative: It is an advanced software and requires training of staff. It takes a while before you can use IRIS efficiently.

Summary: My view of IRIS, in general, is very good. I had barely met Caché and had the opportunity to work with IRIS and until then, the experience has been very good.

Positive: I recently got to know the tool, coming from other technologies, and with a certain fear of changing. I was enchanted from the first contact. An extremely secure and stable database, and with the possibility of working together with Ensemble, make IRIS an even more complete tool.

Negative: As I have been using the tool for a short time, I have not yet seen any problems that can hinder me, however, I miss an IDE platform to work with the data, but, I believe this is a legacy of the other databases I have worked with.

Summary: I am a full stack developer and have been working on Intersystems technologies for 23 years and any project I do satisfies the customer to the fullest.

Positive: Easy to install and create applications and integration solutions. The foundation of the programming language dates back to 1978. But despite this, it remains modern thanks to its development by the manufacturer.

Negative: License pricing does not correspond to the spirit of the market.

Summary: Very happy with IRIS and Cache as well as the great support from Intersystems.
They provide an excellent platform for our application with a fast database.

Positive: IRIS and Cache are easy to install and maintain.
The application is robust, flexible, feature rich, and fast.
Intersystems provide great support and a positive approach to helping and/or partnering their customers.

Negative: Licensing can be tricky for some scenarios but Intersystems are always willing to listen and help resolve issues/queries.

Summary: This is the best all-in-one of iteroperability applications that you can find. Trusted and robust application, ideal for healthcare business.

There is a big developers community in several languages that can provide you a perfect support.

Positive: You have a several options for interoperability (HL7, TCP, FTP, API, WS-SOAP) that you only need to configure and it is working.
It uses a internal database that is very quick and robust. Is possible to create API Rest services in lees than 10 minutes.

Negative: Maybe is so big to learn how it works in deep, also the language is a bit complicate to learn, not impossible, (Cache Object Script).
You need a bit more time to learn how to use and configure than other aplications similar.

Summary: IRIS is simple to implement and very quickly in processing. Very easy do manage and easy do deploy.

Positive: IRIS Database is very easy to manage, has a good administration portal. Also supports the most current technologies, like REST APIs, Docker Containers, Cloud.

Negative: IRIS is not as popular as Oracle and SQL Server, so it has a small online community. The license price is also high.

Summary: Evaluating the tool as a whole, natural evolution has occurred and is occurring, InterSystems is acting in the best possible way, making this database even better.

Positive: I believe that the stability and security that the bank transmits to us, inherit this from Caché, making it the ideal choice. The possibility of working together with Ensemble only illustrates the correct choice.

Negative: Lover of the old databases, I still miss native IDE platforms to work with the data, however, this does not affect the performance of IRIS, it is another natural change.
