I had a techy person helping me to create a slideshow for my son's 18th birthday. He searched onliine and suggested this product.

I purchased the $20 Pro for a year. After almost completing the slide show, the website glitched and we lost EVERYTHING. They DO NOT have a SAVE option on this product. Did you hear what I said?????

Since I really wanted a slide show for my son's birthday, and I had already paid for this, we started over. Again, the same thing happened almost at the end, it glitched and we lost everything. There's NO SAVE Button.

I'm embarrassed to say that we tried a THIRD time, and it glitched again. I could feel my blood pressure rising. We spent literally all day trying to do this.

I called the company asking for a refund and they said that they would make a report and that someone would contact me via email.

They emailed me the next day and asked me all kinds of technical questions that I didn't even understand.

I explained everything in detail and they kept gaslighting and confusing me to frustrate me all over again. They refused to give me back my money.

So all I can do now is warn you about it. Yes, it looks lovely online, but it's hell in real life. I would have paid more than $20 to not go through the disappointment and stress that I experienced that day.

Buy this product only if you want to have a mental breakdown.

Summary: Poor customer service, wonder if there is really anyone there, they don't seem to know how it works even.

Positive: Not very much! If it worked it might be OK and if the customer service was any better, I think a robot must be behind the curtain.

Negative: Never worked properly and customer service is abysmal, tried creating a slide show for a presentation a week out, wouldn't work, they only get back to you every couple days with no real help to address the problem.
Save your money and go somewhere else.

Summary: Some good/ advanced features, but overall a clumsy program to use and several of the features did not work properly for me. I don't think I would buy it again.

Positive: I was able to change transition styles and motion styles for image transitions fairly easily. Adding an audio track is also fairly easy. There are also numerous options for adding text and changing the time that each slide displays on the screen.

Negative: It kept dropping slides at the end of the slide show for no reason. It took forever to render a 15 minute slideshow with music even though I had to reduce the final quality of the video file several times. And the burn to DVD function flatout did not work. I tried it numerous times.

Summary: Frustrating as I was unable to make my slideshow for family Christmas.
Original license was for my hp laptop and custom desktop.
This year i scrapped the desk top and need to license to be applied to this new desk top. Icecream support refuses to do this and keeps asking me where I have the licenses and I keep telling them
Eventually, I uninstalled the software on laptop and told them that now I have no Icecream installed anywhere. NO RESPONSE.

Positive: Simple to work with.
Easy to accommodate music and transitions. Price is reasonable.
Looks like the only software available to focuses on slides rather than videos. To me, that is a big plus.

Negative: Next to impossible to change order of slides as the previews are extremely small. Lots of wasted real estate on screen that could be used to show larger photos when realigning the order.
Customer service is useless as they cannot understand simple issues, even when solution is provided by the customer. Will not provide phone number to resolve a simple problem that has taken 3 weeks so far.
