HashiCorp Waypoint Description

Waypoint uses a single configuration and common workflow to manage deployments across platforms like Kubernetes and Nomad, EC2, Google Cloud Run and more. Waypoint can build applications for any language and any framework. Buildpacks can be used to automatically build common frameworks, custom Dockerfiles, or other tools for fine-grained control. The build step is where your assets and application are compiled, validated and an artifact created. The artifact can then be published to a remote registry, or passed directly to the deploy step. Waypoint deploys artifacts from the build step to a variety platforms, including Kubernetes, EC2 and static site hosts. It configures your target platform, and prepares the new version of the application for public access. A preview URL is provided for deployments before they are published. Waypoint makes your staged deployments available to the public.
