Summary: I deem it NOT legit, even though it has some legit features, because it is SCAREware. Causing misleading messages to pop up on a user's screen is not okay.

Positive: I deem it NOT legit, even though it has some legit features, but they're not worth mentioning, because overall, it is SCAREware.

Negative: Guardio convinced a client their computer was infected by displaying misleading messages. Looking at the messages (e.g a list of websites purportedly visited and "Active threats put you at risk, should we take care of that?"), I find them deceptive.

Scareware is a type of malware attack that tricks users into downloading or buying malicious software. Scareware can come in the form of:

Pop-up ads on a user's computer
Spam email attacks
Messages that pop up on a user's screen
Fake antivirus software

Scareware can be relatively harmless and simply disrupt your browsing experience. Or, it can result in a malware infection and do real damage to your device. Either way, there are better options, both free and paid.

Summary: I think when people have billing issues they should call the company directly to work with them as billing issues do and can happen with any company. I don't think that warrants a bad 1 star review. I have had billing issue with webroot which didn't prompt me to leave a 1 star review, it's still a legit company that provides a good service.

Positive: I found this company from a YouTuber who works with appropriate legal authorities at stopping scammers in the US and overseas. I tried the free trial, everything worked seamlessly and was able to use it on my multiple devices. phone tablet and laptop. i paid my first monthly fee and was charged appropriately. I use this application in conjuction with webroot. This product keeps my information safe. It identified red flags that i was already aware had happened in the past which was accurate. It has alerted me to a couple of new things which allowed me to steer clear of these websites and a link. you can add multiple emails and phones#'s and share, free of charge, with family n friends. Yes there is a limit but you do get a few free people you can share the protection with.

Negative: i haven't found anything that i don't like so far. It's been exactly what i needed and has worked perfectly.
