I'd consider myself to be a decent writer, but it catches any awkward sentences, missed commas, or spelling mistakes as I go. If you're wondering if it is more robust than spellcheck, it is. It will tell you what kind of tone your writing sounds like. It is really an advanced product. I use it for everything.

Negative: I can't really think of a con with Grammarly as much as it has made me a lazy proofreader. Since Grammarly checks me, I don't feel the need to proof my work as much. It's kindof a good and bad problem to have.
