Pacific Solutions replaces graph paper, tape measures, and pencils with a tablet, a laser rangefinder, and a tape measure. The laser will send the exact distance of a wall to the tablet using Bluetooth after measuring one of the perimeter walls. Next, swipe your finger in the direction you want to draw the wall. Then, walk to the end wall, measure the adjacent wall, and swipe again in the direction of the next line. Repeat the process until you have captured the entire perimeter of the room. SiteDraw is able to draw arcs and angles that are not conventional without the use of angle gauges. The door opening can be used as a reference to align rooms precisely. The entire drawing can then be sent to FloorRight Estimation Software, where materials will be assigned and takeoffs will be completed.
