Summary: I was looking for an extra security layer in front of EOP. EOP is not enough to block all infected files and SPAM messages. Filewall was easy to deploy in few clicks. It has more features than Office 365 ATP. I was surprised that the it captured lot of infected attachments and SPAM emails which EOP did not capture.

Positive: Filewall is a necessary security layer along with basic EOP.
Easy to deploy
Cost effective solution
User friendly interface

Negative: it's only available on the Microsoft Marketplace. Would like to see it available through other channels.

Summary: Considering the increased security threats these days specially in terms of malware sent as attachments in various formats it is imperative to have a reliable solution to deal with them in real-time. I have been using solutions like ATP to deal with such security issues but we have still observed some of the attachment types to come through and granular level of configurations and policy changes are not possible in ATP, whereas with filewall my experience is totally different. This is a more stable solution which doesn’t have any dependency on other tools and can work in parallel along with other solutions you have for email filtering. This tool is far more user friendly and easy to administer. You can configure FileWall within 5-10 minutes and can start using it.

Positive: User friendly admin center.
Provides email security by scanning attachments.
Customization options available in terms of configuration and settings.

Negative: I expect some additional features to be added soon and should be available for additional services within Office 365 in addition to Exchange online.
